Went for a golf weekend and had a fabulous time. Food was spot on, beer (Straight from thr keg) was even better. The hosts were superb which, all in all, complimented the whole weekend. Many Many Thanks !!

i came with a group of 10 on a hen weekend and had an excellent weekend! staff are very friendly and hotel is perfectly situated, would recommend to anyone.

HI, Stayed at Belgica for work in Feb. Guest house was welcoming and friendly. It wasnt en-suite but the bathroom was down the hall and was always cleaned. The whole place was cleaned every day, breakfast was good and was just on the next street to all the pubs in Whitley (Which most people go to Whitley for anyway!) I... More

We are a group of blokes from Wigan and we stayed here for 2 nights in May and had 2 great days watching football on one of the afternoons with spike the dog and a great bunch of scotish girls on a hen weekend in the bar lounge . Not a problem with our rooms and the breki's were great... More

well we stayed there for a mates hen do we found it clean, tidy and the staff very accomodating. ok it wasnt the ritz but it had just recently opened for bussiness. What a strange and horrible place. The twin bedroom had three beds, of which one was broken. The water cooker felt only safe to use because whatever lived in there before was bound to be cooked and killed in the process. A twin bedded room with one broken bed did not bode well for a good night. Nor did the fact that it (and Whitley Bay) were full of stag parties and hen nights. Never go to a lousy place on a Saturday night! But beggars can't be choosers. If you want a seedy bar, it has one. If you want... More
