Landlady and staff helper were unfailingly courteous and friendly. Parking at the entrance of the hotel. Had large room with kettle, microwave and fridge, which was very useful. Free wifi is available. If you like the coast, you won't find a better location; cross the road and you're on the sandy beach with views of St Mary's Island. Walk north...

The hotel is on a beautiful piece of coast running up to the lighthouse. The sands are pleasurable, the town centre, albeit somewhat Dickensian, is less than a ten minute walk and has everything from many boutique shops and tea and cake specialists to a late closing Sainsbury's. The room was enormous, bright, the sea so close it was in...

Wipe your feet on the way out. Totally disgusting. Linen not changed, old sweat and saliva stained pillows with no pillow cases, another mans filthy underwear in the cupboard, mouldy, dusty, severely dilapidated. Shall try to get this place condemned, no electrical safety PAT stickers on appliances. Have already reported to Heath & Safety. My complaint via email (as no...

My partner is a contractor and had been staying at the hotel during the week, I decided to join him mid week as I had just arrived back in England from a month long trip to Kenya. When I arrived at the hotel I noticed that it was looking very old and needed a lot of work doing, however it's...

Worst hotel i have ever stepped foot in. Booked this through booking.com (already paid), when we went to check in she didn't know anything about the booking and was asking 101 questions, who booked it? When did you book it? Why did you book it? All with the worst attitude. Then asked us to pay when it was already paid...
