Monday to Friday stay on a coach trip, good location right on the sea front. Had a refurbished room very spacious and clean. Food portions are huge! Good basic food well cooked. The best thing about this hotel is the staff - debbie in the restaurant runs a tight ship with great humour and is always cheerful Alex in the bar - great guy very helpful and friendly All the staff here work incredibly hard and with a smile on their faces I would return to this hotel purely due to the staff- well done and thank you to you all

Excellent service for my gluten free meals. Tasty food with good choice. No problem with dietary needs and very attentive service. Shame the room and furniture required updating, especially the bathroom. Too near the lift shaft which could easily be heard and no decent views from the window

Nation Coach Holiday arrived Fri. 3 to Mon 6 Sept. Met by a "manager" given short information talk. No hard sell just useful information. Foyer is clean bright and cheerful. (actually i have also described all the staff we met). Our room 42 was smallish but more than adequate for our short stay. Clean, comfy bed with excellent shower. The view from the window! well someone has to look at the side of the building. Didn't spoil our stay though. Breakfast and evening meal were very good. Plenty of choice, well cooked and presented. We would have no hesitation at staying in this hotel again. One small downside: not the hotels fault. There is a chemist in the town up a short but steep hill but if you need meds etc it is closed all day Sat and Sun. You have been advised.

Review from my nanny who had a week away with a friend, which was part of a coach trip!! My nanny had a week stay over at this hotel with a friend, absolutely disgusted with what she had came home saying Hotel-couldn’t find room as numbers on doors were all muddled, had to go up stairs and long corridors just to find rooms Lift-like it was from the years ago with the metal gates, didn’t feel safe in it at all Bedroom- kettle was black at the bottom hadn’t been dis-scaled, so they couldn’t have a cup of tea every morning, Bathroom- shower was filthy had to ask for one of the house keepers to come and clean it, was told if they needed clean towels to leave them out, and they would be changed, this never happened, could hardly move in.. They only thing they said was nice was the food, Definitely would NOT RECOMMEND!!
