We stayed in here for our 4 night coach holiday &, from the start was the best-est in 3 years. The walk-in shower was just what we need at our age (getting your leg over to get in the bath is nearly impossible) plus there was a non-slip mat supplied & a big grab handle in the shower but a let down of there being no shelf for shampoo or soap. Next big like was the food, plenty of choices on all three courses, in fact I was nearly about to chose a veggie/vegan main course but the choice of meat dish options over powered my decision. Also the vegetables served up was very varied & only got peas & carrots on one night. The desserts were also very plentiful, with tea or coffee afterwards. The breakfasts were standard issue of porridge, cereals, oranges, grapefruit, juice but sadly no fruit salad & full English out of which you could order what you wanted or not. There was evening entertainment but as this is not 'our thing' we did not join in. This was a very pleasant stay & the weather behaved itself.…
Been to The Trouville on many occasions over the last 15 or so years, and it's never disappointed. It's position right on the seafront is great, and all double rooms overlook the sea (as far as I am aware). The food has always been good, and the staff pleasant and efficient. Some of the staff have been here for as long as I can remember. Only negatives are parking, which is not overly convenient, only one small lift, and no room service. Overall, though, I highly recommend this hotel.
Really loved this hotel with wonderful sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal very good. Evening entertainment very enjoyable. Room very clean and well equipped. Thank you to all the staff who made our break so pleasant
Stayed at this hotel last week. Went on a coach holiday with J&K coach holiday who I think are brilliant for price and coach driver was Darren who was very friendly and helpful Breakfast was very good but evening meals could have been better. Rooms were clean but very basic.
My recent stay at The Trouville could not have been made any more perfect. Chrissy and Amanda went above and beyond to ensure I was looked after. The food here was excellent and could not faulted. The service here is second to none and would book again without hesitation. Thank you so much to all Trouville staff. You are a credit to the hotel.
Arrived at our hotel and was checked in very quickly. Thought the receptionist was a bit short with me when I asked a question about parking. We bought a permit for our stay as find a parking space was getting a bit tricky and was just going round and round for a good 20 minutes due to road works and road closures. Room had a good sea view and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The room was serviced well and the staff that cleaned the room was very friendly. The bar area was very nice and comfortable to sit in with plenty of space. The food in the restaurant was acceptable and we sat with other people which was a good idea so everyone got to meet someone new and had interesting conversations. The reason for going to Isle of Wight was to go to the Soul Weekender which was a disappointment to be honest. It was not the kind of music we were expecting as they played 99% of music we had never heard of. They played one motown song which a lot of people got up for and then all sat down when the song finished. They seemed to play a lot of B sides vinyls and looked like they were in competition with other DJ's to see who can play the most obscure records. Not to our taste and thought we would be listening to more motown like Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Amy Whinehouse, Commordores and the list goes on. So won't be attending anymore Soul Weekenders here but may return to the hotel just for the sea view.…
We have just returned home from this hotel and I was overwhelmed with everything about the hotel.Excellent and friendly staff.....lovely clean premises...and seriously top class food. The hotel truly made our 3 day stay worth every penny and if the business maintains these standards in the future.....I can only see 'pleased patrons' and a healthy business.....Well done.❤❤❤
