Just stayed here with my wife for a weekend getaway, we purchased the deal through Groupon. On arrival I noted that the receptionist who dealt with us was extremely helpful and welcoming offering me a quick tour of the hotel. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant (included in the deal), once again staff were very polite serving quickly...

Everyone at Melville Hall where friendly and helpful. We had a great package including a credit towards a spa treatment and the ferry making it excellent value for money. We upgraded to an Executive Double with the added benefits of no charge for room service, robes and slippers. I would recommend the hotel and spa, small but perfectly formed just...

This was a Groupon deal, two nights B and B, dinner on first night, ferry crossing and spa vouchers. We have family on the island and this gave us a perfect opportunity to go and see them. When we arrived as our allocated room was on second floor and I have limited mobility we were offered an upgrade at a...

A very nice room, clean and tidy. The hotel was well situated for the local station and bus links, without being too far from the seafront, shops, restaurants and bars. It was also good to come back and make use of the spa facilities

Unfortunately I have to give an honest review and our experience was terrible. My partner had booked 2 nights in the superior room as a surprise weekend away. The room was anything but, very basic, cheaply done up and so far removed from what we expected- our caravan holiday was more luxurious by far. I can't imagine how awful the...

Thank you for leaving a detailed review after less than an hours stay with us. It was a shame that you were unable to discuss the issues before choosing and booking to stay elsewhere as we would have been able to show you alternative rooms. I hope you enjoyed your stay on the Isle of Wight. Kind Regards

Your staff could not be more friendly and helpful in every respect. Room small, but was warm, cosy and spotless. Our lovely gentleman, wine/drinks waiter looked after us so well, remembering our room no. and length of stay etc. Thank you for his kind attention to detail.. A true gent... A pleasant early morning chat also. Your young man waiter...

Lovely hotel, excellent spa facilities. Friendly and helpful staff especially Jo on reception and Jake in the restaurant who were always willing to help. Bedrooms lovely and warm with comfy beds. We have had a lovely, relaxing weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatments and especially the outdoor hot tub.

Just back from a few days staycation to IOW. Our first time there & we selected Melville Hall Hotel based on the deals on their web site. Had an amazing stay, room was clean and comfortable, spa facilities were basic but all worked perfectly, breakfast and dinner were generous and freshly prepared and every member of staff we encountered couldn't...

Great food in a nicely decorated restaurant. Very friendly staff with good spa facilities including a detox room, outside hot jacuzzi and sauna. Paid extra for facial, pedicure and warming wrap which were all lovely. Would visit again. Reasonably priced too.
