Everything about our stay here was of a very high quality. Starting with our hosts Gary and Nigel. It seems that hospitality is firmly embedded in their DNA. They made us feel very welcome and were very easy to be with. The building is an amazing place and was fitted out and decorated in a manner suiting its age. All work has been completed to a consistent high standard, no corners cut. The breakfast choice was amazing; obviously we chose the 'Full Lodge' option which was a perfectly cooked, grease free full fry up. It was delightful. The room was spacious, beautiful, immaculately clean, superbly furnished and had everything we needed. A great selection of teas alongside a coffee maker with plenty of coffee. To top it all, there was a Tunnocks Tea Cake among the biscuits! The bed was one of the most comfortable I've seen in a hotel or BnB.

This is our third visit at the ivybank lodge never disappoints. The ivybank lodge now provides evening meals and drinks. Our hosts Nigel and Gary always do their best to make your stay memorable, I have special dietary needs and the meal that was provided was excellent, there hospitality is second to none, each room is individually decorated with special touches from the espresso coffee machine to the light up make up mirror and I can’t go with out mentioning the duck down quilt pillows and cushions. Give the ivybank lodge a try we can’t recommend it enough

I booked this as a birthday present for my husband and it was such a treat in every way. The welcome, hospitality, decor, style and comfort all wonderful and everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast and dining experience was top class. We’ll definitely return and will be recommending to our friends.
