We had a lovely evening meal in the McInnes House Hotel while in Kingussie for a week. The staff were attentive and friendly and a special mention should be given to Daisy who was very helpful and without being annoying. She struck just the right balance. The food was simple but really flavourful. The plates were large and we did struggle to finish the main but still managed a dessert. I can really recommend the gin and elderflower cheesecake which was really tasty. The prices were reasonable and best of all it was dog friendly. We did have to sit in the bar with her but it was nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable. We would totally recommend.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a weekend for a long overdue catch up with a group of friends. The hotel is beautiful with traditional yet modern decor. Our rooms were spotless, food was delicious (and fairly priced) and the staff were so friendly and approachable. So many beautiful places to explore in the surrounding areas. My husband and I are already planning our next trip but with the kids next time! Would really struggle to find fault with this accommodation.

We met up for a birthday lunch outside. The very kind staff put up decorations I had sent to them and added some more to make it very special. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The food was great and cocktails even better ! Can’t wait to return.
