Our spacious farm cottages are set in 35 tranquil acres within our own private and picturesque valley overlooking Lee Bay, in an enviably peaceful location, with roads and neighbours over quarter of a mile away! There'll be a delicious Devon cream tea with home baked scones waiting for you when you arrive and all our 4* graded cottages and lodges are furnished and equipped to a high standard to offer you the comforts of home. Every cottage has a dishwasher, washer dryer, wifi, central heating and unlimited hot water from our green biomass boiler that help keeps our carbon footprint low and your comfort levels high! We welcome families, couples and groups alike. Children especially love the fresh air and freedom, with plenty of outdoor space to explore, and for rainy days the games room keeps everyone entertained. Spend the day on the farm and meet the animals, spot the abundant wildlife, help collect eggs or feed the ducks on our ponds. For all that, we are only a short walk along public footpaths to Lee and its local Craft Shop and traditional village pub. There are miles of public footpaths around Lee Bay and the South West Coast Path - we are happy to provide maps and can suggest walks in the local area. Only ten minutes away by car you can enjoy the family friendly and surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Putsborough and Croyde or visit Ilfracombe with its famous Victorian Tunnel beaches. The Tarka trail is right on your doorstep - so bring your bike! Explore Exmoor, take a long day out to Lundy, the Eden project or visit one of the numerous local attractions such as the Sheepdog and Falconry displays at Borough Farm (famous for Channel 5's Mist the sheepdog) which is just up the road. We have a large supply of ideas for days out. Or just simply relax...We are open all year for holidays and short breaks. Dogs are very welcome.

Fantastic time on the farm each morning with Farmer Tony feeding the animals and collecting eggs , walking and grooming the ponies, with additional bonus of a tractor ride , our daughter who is extremely shy , came out of her shell and loved every moment of the holiday. We had a beautiful clean cottage which was spacious and fabulous view over to Lee bay , excellent walks , perfect for a lovely relaxing holiday .

We stayed here for a week in July as a family of four (2 adults, a toddler and a newborn). We honestly had one of the best holidays we’ve ever had and what made it so special is Lower Campscott Farm. Our toddler absolutely adored feeding the animals with farmer Tony each morning, collecting eggs from the hens, the tractor rides and walking the small ponies. Tony put so much effort into making it fun for the kids. This was the best part of each day. Kathy was so helpful when we were booking and in giving us tips of where to go. The farm is idyllic and so so beautiful. Coming back to it every day after being out doing our activities felt like coming home. The sunsets over the fields were very special and we enjoyed a few evenings when the weather was good letting our daughter run around in the outdoor playground while we enjoyed the view. The farm shop is extremely well stocked and everything we bought from there tasted delicious (the sausages from the farm were the best we’ve ever tasted!). We stayed in the Stable Cottage which had more than enough room for all of us. All in all a great stay and we’re looking forward to coming back already!

What a fantastic review. It always gives us pleasure to know that our guests had such a great time and made some fantastic memories. We love to think it is a home from home, even just for a week. Hopefully we will still have some of our delicious sausages next time you stay - although Tony has got his eyes on them!!!

Great holiday for pre schoolers. We had a lovely four night stay at Lower Campscott Farm Holiday Cottages in Devon last week. We stayed in Hydrangea cottage which had no stairs (handy for small ones). Small farm, can feed animals each morning, tractor rides. Little play park on site. Clean accommodation with parking right outside. Little shop on site for basics. Really close to lots of great beaches for rock pooling regardless of weather. Exmoor zoo nearby and steam train rides both of which were great.

We had an excellent few days at Lower Campscott Farm. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for young families. Our accommodation was excellently situated within the farm and everything had been very well thought out. Each day our little boy of nearly two enjoyed the freedom of exploring the farm and getting to know the animals. There is much to do on the farm but the location here is also really well placed to find excellent beaches and places of interest nearby. Lastly Kath and Tony were extremely helpful & friendly. Five stars ⭐️

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. It's always great for other families to read about our farm and the freedom that little ones have whilst getting to know the animals. Farmer Tony is always grateful for the extra hands on his daily rounds. We hope you will come back and visit another time.

Can’t recommend enough for little ones! We stayed in pinetree which had plenty of space for four adults and three children. It was great to have some things onsite to do. Our 5, 3 and 2 year old were definitely right at home. The children all loved helping Farmer Tony feed the animals - especially on Monday when it was just our group. And the tractor ride was a big hit too. We all felt welcomed, and it was nice to meet the owners and chat. And the on-site shop is handy for any last minute bits you might have forgotten. We’d love to go back!

I stayed at Lower Campscott Farm for 6 days in September 2022 with my 3 year old son and husband. We loved it! It’s in such a beautiful location with sea views and rolling hills all around. Farmer Tony was brilliant with the kids and our son loved helping him feed the animals, walk the ponys and of course the tractor rides were a big hit. The on site playground, games room and farm shop were also an added bonus. We stayed in Stable Cottage which was very clean and perfectly equipped. There’s loads to do nearby too, with Lee Bay being really popular with us as it’s a very short distance away and is great for rock pooling. And the price is fantastic - great value for money and cheaper than lots of other family holidays out there. We loved it so much that we’re already talking about going back next year!

It was lovely to meet you all and thank you for taking the time to write such a great review. We are lucky our farm is located in such beautiful countryside and yet is still close to the coast with sea views - you get the best of both worlds. Farmer Tony needs all the help he can with the animal feeding so hopefully we will see you all again soon.

First family holiday here. We loved it what a lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country. The accommodation was perfect for us, the dishwasher and washer dryer was a god send with 5 kids made my holiday so much easier. Comfortable and cozy we enjoyed hiring a hot tub and stargazing on a night. BBQs were free to hire and the little farm shop was great for picking up essentials I think it has everything you would need in one tiny shop! The farm itself is very peaceful and the kids loved seeing the animals every day and the tractor rides, farmer Tony is very patient and clearly loves his job! So many thoughtful extras are provided such as welcome cream tea and the fact you can borrow windbreaker, beach equipment just makes your holiday even easier! I really enjoyed our stay and the location is great for local beaches and country walks. I can't wait to come again I just wish we could of stayed longer! Thankyou Tony and Kath for a wonderful break! The Sullivan family

Farmer Tony always says " if you love a job you never do a days work in your life! ". We do try to make life as easy as possible for families with children by providing the bigger things such as washer dryers as well as the smaller things like crabbing nets, windbreaks and buckets & spades to make your holiday easier. As you say North Devon is such a beautiful part of the country and we are so pleased that you were able to appreciate it. We do hope you will come back again as there is always more to see.

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 day stay in Firtree Lodge. Everything has been thought of to ensure a relaxing, family friendly stay. Our boys (6 and 8) loved feeding the animals and Farmer Tony was fantastic with all the children. The lodge was immaculate with everything you could need. We also loved having the goats just outside to greet every morning. We were keen to stay in a less commercial area and this was the ideal location. Lee Bay is beautiful and we loved being there.

It's great to hear that you all had such a relaxing stay. Lee Bay is defninitely a hidden gem in north Devon and is a great option if you want to go rockpooling or just to get away from the bigger sandier beaches. I hope you are not missing the goats too much !

After visiting last year I’ve heard ‘ let’s go to farmer Tony’s’ endlessly from our now 4 year old. So back we went this year and it was as brilliant as ever. Everything you need for a holiday with small children. A safe environment, views for days, fresh air and animal encounters by the dozen. And not to mention a sea swim just minutes away. Couldn’t ask for more.

We stayed in Pinetree Lodge with six adults, two three year olds and an eighteen month old, and there was plenty of room for all. The lodge was very well equipped and comfortable. The fenced in veranda meant that the little ones could play safely, but soon the playground out the back soon became a great place for them to go on their own. Farmer Tony was amazingly patient with young and old and would take time to explain to all. Feeding the animals was a great treat each morning and is greatly missed by all. A lovely walk to Lee from the farm, with a stop off at the pub on the way back, made the steep walk through the woods ok. A very welcoming and friendly holiday location.

We are glad to hear that Pinetree was able to accommodate you all coomfortably. It is definitely in a great central location on the farm. Animal feeding is always very popular with all age groups - hopefully you got a tractor & trailer ride in as well! We certainly like your tip about stopping off at the pub and hope to see you again soon.
