Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent stay as usual. Situated within walking distance to town and harbour areas. But also nearby bus stops for local bus routes into town or travelling to locations further afield. Off street parking available which is a must at busy times. John & Sue look after you and are always available should need any local information on travel or restaurants. Always happy to visit.

A very reasonably priced b and b with exceptionally friendly hosts.....the towels were changed every day and bed linen twice during the week. If you have problems climbing stairs ask Sue and John to put you in lower accommodation and they will oblige

Fantastic stay at John and Sue's place . After having a nightmare of been double booked in a apartment and having nowhere to stay John& sue was so welcoming to there home and are such nice people. The rooms are more than well equipped for all your needs and if you want anything nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast is amazing cooked by John ( his jokes are not so great ) sorry John, but he is a minefield of information about all the area's you can go and visit. Fantastic stay wish we could of stayed longer as really enjoyed there conversions and humour. Would definitely recomend staying at two ways b&b as it's a small walk to the town and pub , and John and sue are great hosts thank you both xx

We stayed 5 nights and was well looked after by Sue and her charming husband John. The room was spotless and clean everyday. nice clean bedding, towels changed everyday. They were both very helpful with getting us around the local area. the bus stop is just across the road which we use to take us into the town and the nearby coastal areas. there are lots of places to walk, to dine, visit and go sightseeing. The area is peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful, especially in the mornings. We go for long walks up the road along the harbour. John and Sue made our stay welcoming and could not do enough for us. Very charming couple. we will sure to see them soon . thank you. Jacqui and Dennis

We stayed 4 nights at Two Ways and were well looked after. Sue and John are top hosts. Towels are replenished each day and the Devonshire breakfast certainly filled you up for the rest of the day. Location-wise, the house is a 15 minute walk into town though a bus service does run past. Note that parking is at the rear of the hotel so you may well drive past and take the next right for the rear. Enjoy !

Our second visit to Ilfracombe the first being 15 years ago. At the two ways John and Sue are lovely hosts and cant do enough for you. We stayed for 8 nights but could have stayed through August. Rooms are cleaned everyday with lovely fresh towels. Breakfast was very good with a choice from the menu. The location is a bit out of the way but there is a bus that takes you into town and another on return if required. We walked some and took the bus sometimes into town. Visited the lovely park up the road almost every morning before breakfast. Ilfracombe is a lovely place to visit with lots of places to dine out but booking is required at evening time at moment due to the pandemic. The coast line is wonderful to view as you stroll along. Of course the harbour is very busy, visited by young and old with a monument of Ferity standing high as a vocal point, as is the little church on the hill behind. Yea, we had a good time at Two ways with some laughs thrown in, so would recommend a visit no problem. Would love to see you again John and Sue, thanks for the memories. Ian & Sharon.

We stayed for two nights in June. John and sue were very welcoming and went out of their way to make it a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was fantastic and it has lots of parking spaces. Excellent value for money and walking distance to Ilfracombe

As usual a lovely stay in a out of the way location but still within walking distance to town and the harbour or via a short bus trip using one of the nearby bus stops. Excellent breakfast with a varied choice. Lovely hosts and would definitely stay again.
