Welcomed at the door with a cheery face, helped with cases up to the top floor, lovely lounge area with honesty bar, great garden and the best breakfast I have EVER had in a hotel. Room was fine for us shorter than average guests, well appointed bathroom and a PROPER coffee machine! Nicely decorated throughout. We are already planning our next visit. If you like a driving challenge then the lower part of the car park is for you - I'd had my car for only five days so it was a learning experience.

We have just spent 3 nights at Epchris House what a delight. Cath and the team have everything down to a fine art. Nicely decorated and clean rooms, comfy bed and big white fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious and a nice touch being served in your room, we didn't get to eat on the terrace as the weather wasn't great, the garden is lovely to look at whilst you are eating breakfast. Yes it is up a hill and the area has a lot of properties being renovated but dont let thst put you off as once inside Epchris House you will have a lovely stay. Lots of parking on the road outside. We highly recommend and our little dogs do too as they got there own sausages for breakfast.

We have just returned from a six night stay at Epchris House. We received a very warm welcome from Cath, the owner, who showed us to our delightful room which was spotlessly clean and had excellent facilities including a mini fridge that contained (fresh) milk and complimentary bottles of mineral water. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were served to our room and were delicious and made from top quality ingredients. A hamper supplies your first preselected course which is delivered to your door followed by your preselected freshly cooked and piping hot breakfast at your chosen time slot. There is plenty of choice. There is a large lounge downstairs with a well stocked honesty bar and a table tennis table. Books and games are also available. We also enjoyed sitting on the sun terrace outside where you can also eat breakfast when the weather allows. Parking can be difficult due to a steep slope but we always found adequate parking on the road outside. All in all we had a wonderful stay. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and it was clear Cath and her team took great pride in all that they do. Highly recommended!

Fantastic guest house with friendly team. Room was spacious and comfy and great value . Breakfast was amazing with the BEST scrambled eggs I’ve ever had 😋 Great for anyone exploring the area but obviously connected with Easy Divers so great for anyone dive training or attending one of their trips etc My only (constructive) feedback would be to start serving breakfast 15m earlier to make it less of a rush for those diving …
