This was my third stay at Wildercombe House. Great house, refurbished to a very high standard. The personal welcome is always very warm and friendly, and the rooms very comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. The variety on offer at breakfast is great and the quality is even better. I will stay here any time...

I visited Wildercombe House yesterday evening, a cold out of season January night. I booked very late as I was unsure of my plans. I couldn't have asked for a warmer reception to what I can only describe as a beautiful, homely but very large Guesthouse/Hotel. The owners were delightful, the breakfast was excellent the room was large clean ands...

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in a very clean and spotless room with a king size bed and large on-suite bathroom. There was a good selection for breakfast which was excellent. Anne Marie gave us some tips on where to visit which proved to be just right for our short stay. We felt very relaxed here and...

This is a superb up-market B&B in Ilfracombe. A really lovely place to stay. Great big spacious rooms which were very clean. The owner has a great way with guests and makes you feel right at home. SUPERB breakfast no skimping here. A bit of a trek into town as Ilfracombe is very hilly and parking is a bit limited...

Although I stayed mid-week and out of season so the hotel was very quiet, the service was still fantastic and the staff very friendly and efficient. The room (I stayed in room 8) was very nice indeed, with good facilities, great views and a comfortable bed. I diverted 30 minutes drive each way to try this hotel and I am...

Wonderful old Victorian Gentleman's Summer residence restored by the current owners to a very high standard. Just an overnight stay for us, but love to go back again. Great welcome by the owner Anne Marie who was more than happy to arrange a taxi for us into town. Breakfast was individually cooked after a lovely selection of fresh fruit. A...

Lovely newly-renovated building on the outskirts of Ilfracombe. Wonderful warm welcome, beautiful room and lots of communal space (including a pool table!). It's a decent walk into the town centre but only £3.50 in a taxi. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend it. However, there were a few details that could be improved,...

We wanted to have a couple of nights away in Ilfracombe so I scoured the internet for a special bed and breakfast. I came across Wildercombe House and it sounded perfect. We were very impressed with all aspects of this property. We stayed in room 14 which is quite a quirky room but beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bathroom...
