My husband Chris and I stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary on September 8th. As soon as we arrived after a 5 hour journey, Janey welcomed us like a friend. We were bought fresh milk for tea and there was a wide range of tea or coffee to chose from. A surprise of delicious shortbread and a packet of fudge was also available. We needed our champagne to be on ice until our anniversary and Janey immediately obliged and kept it in her fridge. The bed was comfortable, bed linen spotless and excellent quality furnishings ( later discovered that talented Janey made them!) The shower was brilliant as the water pressure was excellent, everything was lovely in the very modern bathroom. We enjoyed the ‘ breakfast in the room as I didn’t need to get up early to get ready and this felt more relaxed. Chris had bacon, sausage & egg on a toasted panini.. that isn’t my type of breakfast so Janey very kindly supplied lovely creamy porridge with a selection of fruit and toast which was ideal for me. Overall, the B&B is in a beautiful spot, we were able to watch the gorgeous wild birds taking their food off the bird table, whilst eating my own breakfast. A little run into Tenby but no big deal, we had our champagne to come back to after a lovely meal at the Fortina Restaurant on the sea front. Thank you Janey for your fantastic hospitality, it was lovely to meet your brother too.

In all of our travels I don't think we were ever more warmly welcomed and attended to. Janey and her brother Rod are the perfect hosts. Our room in the house was large, airy and beautifully decorated and designed. There is a closet to hang your clothes and several drawers for other articles. There are night tables on both sides of the bed with lamps and tissues as well as plugs for charging electronics. The table and chairs placed next to the balcony doors allowed us to enjoy breakfast indoors, but with a breeze coming in the open doors. I enjoyed a morning cup of coffee sitting on the balcony which has 2 chairs and a small table, with a view to the garden where we watched the birds feed at the feeders. There is also a lovely view where the water is visible in the distance. There are cookies, tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the room, replenished each day. The bathroom is well thought out with a large shower with grab bars and a pull-down seat if wished. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water are available. Jayne was enormously helpful in aiding us in our daily adventures. She made great suggestions and responded to our choices by printing up maps and information about our destinations. Incredible! We wound up having a flat tire and Rod and Jayne found a tyre store and gave us easy directions to access it and our tyre was repaired. Gower View Luxury Bed and Breakfast is located just outside of Tenby. We wound up going to Saundersfoot, an easy and quick drive each morning to walk the path there along the water. I had corresponded several times before our arrival and Jayne was very responsive in answering my questions and making recommendations. Oh how we wish we lived closer and were able to come back again and again.
Definitely have a meal at the award-winning restaurant Stone Crab in Saundersfoot, a 10 minute drive. A 20 minute drive will take you to Rib n Oyster for a fantastic meal in Kilgetty.
Be sure to visit Manorbier for a gorgeous walk, Barafundle Bay, the Stackpole and Bosherston Lily Pond trail.
Just ask Jayne and she'll help you out with fantastic recommendations of castles, beaches, trail walks.

What can you say about Gower View, it was amazing! I booked this place as a quiet getaway for Valentines weekend for my wife and I, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The location is fantastic, (rural, adjacent to woodland with amazing views), and the lodge was just perfect. The attention to detail is evident in all aspects, real thought has been put into the the decoration and everything that is in the lodge is high quality and essential for a break. Janey is with no doubt one of the nicest B&B owners I have ever met, she kindly organised flowers and bubbles for our arrival, her breakfast's were excellent, and we had a lovely catch up with her and Roger on the Sunday morning. She answered all my questions and emails within an hour and we felt as though we had known them for years. This has now become "Our special place" and we will be returning at our next opportunity.
Additional information -
Taxi's in and out of Tenby town centre from Gower View are roughly £10-£11 each way.
We ate at "The Stable" restaurant in Tenby, highly recommended, fantastic food (local lobster) and customer service, family run.

We stayed in a large room with a king-size bed it was very clean and tidy with extra ammuntities eg fudge and bottled water and fresh milk. Also had a small kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities. We had a good view and outside table and chairs where we enjoyed a cup of tea and slice of home made cherry cake. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with homemade bread toasted. The owner Janey was lovely very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our wedding anniversary weekend immensely.

We had a warm welcome from Janey who brought us lovely homemade cake and was really helpful with tips and maps for some local attractions.
The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the room was very spacious and the view was great. Breakfast was brought to the room by Janey and her brother and there was plenty of choice if you'd wanted it. To sit looking out at the pretty garden and view beyond while enjoying a relaxing breakfast was a tonic.
Everything about the B&B was good and there is nothing negative to say.

Just had three nights here with the wife. A great B&B, very clean, warm and very polite owner who was very accommodating. Less then 5 minutes from the center of Tenby. Situated in a great location with great views. Would glady return here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quite ger away.

Such a gem of a property and a real home from home atmosphere. Superbly appointed room, a lovely warm welcome and nothing remotely out of place with anything. Hosts were brilliant with local knowledge and information. Breakfast served in the room, overlooking the Gower, set a wonderful tone for each day.

We stayed in the Garden Room and loved every minute of our stay. Great room with kitchenette and balcony to eat and drink outdoors. Lovely hosts and fantastic location. Would definitely return. Tenby and the surrounding areas are well worth a visit. Our first but not last.

This was our second visit to Janey and have stayed in both rooms which are equally tastefully decorated and well appointed. We were made to feel very welcome from the first moment we arrived. With Janey nothing is too much trouble, she is genuinely the perfect hostess. The cream tea with the home made jams on arrival is a lovely touch. The breakfasts are delicious too. All in all another perfect break at Gower View.
Thank you Janey, we will certainly be coming back!

We stayed 3 nts recently to celebrate our very special 1 st wedding anniversary. Janey was the consummate host, really professional but also a warm and generous host. We had superbly prepared breakfasts and were offered highly valued information and advice with regards the surrounding area's amenities and attractions. The room was beautifully presented, including everything you could possibly need for a short stay and the location was marvellous. Situated in a secluded location but within easy reach of Tenby, Carew and Saundersfoot. A truly great place to stay. We can't praise it highly enough!!
