The beds were really on the thin side and our bathroom although only for us was separate from the room and I wouldn't say it was particularly good value. There...

Also there was no better place to enjoy the event of my friends birthday! The views sat by the window were Magical! Would definitely recommend and would definitely...

My wife and I held our wedding reception at Penally Abbey in March 2017 after getting married across the road at St Teilo's and St Nicholas' Church. What an amazing venue with fantastic staff who could not do enough for us and our guests, making it a truly magical day. We met the team a number of times over the...

We stayed in this wonderful hotel in Marvh. Our 3 night stay was fabulous, we wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly & engaging and the food amazing! ( a separate vegetarian menu was a real surprise and allowed me to be spoilt for choice!)...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Penally Abbey is a small Country House Hotel and Restaurant situated in an elevated position, adjacent to the the 12th Century church in the pretty floral village of Penally.Penally, is only 1.5mls from the beautiful medieval walled town of Tenby with its cobbled streets, ancient ramparts, picturesque harbour, and long sandy beaches in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park. The 'Abbey' is pretty rather than grand. The rooms are beautifully proportioned and sympathetically decorated and furnished to compliment the style of the building. Unusual features are the large ogee head doors and windows through which one can see views of Tenby Golf Course, Caldey Island and across the bay toward the Gower peninsular. We serve unpretentious food in beautiful surroundings. Our staff are friendly but not too intrusive. Our rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. We are only 800yds from Tenby's South Beach. But most importantly we offer the warmest welcome in Wales. ... more   less
