Our first ever Guest House stay as a family... amazing!
We stayed in Room 9, a family room with a double bed & single for our daughter. Super clean, comfortable and spacious for what we needed.
We were greeted by Julie & Sam who were so very smiley - they made us feel so welcome from the moment we met them! We were shown to our room & immediately knew we were in for a comfortable stay.
Due to Covid guidelines we were unable to eat in the dining room but we were supplied with an order form, we could order our breakfast to our room, we had bacon & sausage sandwiches & our daughter had porridge. All delicious, washed down with a selection of orange, apple juice or bottled water. Perfect!
The location of the guest house is perfect, parking just round the corner and the beach less than 5min walk away. Town centre about 5 mins walk also.
We couldn’t have been happier, Gumfreston House was a perfect base for our mini break to the seaside! We will definitely visit again.
Thanks Sam & Julie. X

Me and my partner stayed here for the first time on the 30th April until the 3rd May, brilliant location just off the main beach front and just a short walk from the car park.

On entering the B&B we were met by Sam and Julie who gave a very warm welcome, after a few minutes of chatting Julie then showed us to our room and explained the covid rules regarding room servicing and breakfast (great selection) the room was absolutely spotless, so bright and really spacious the heating was also timed perfectly and so the room stayed really warm.

Every morning breakfast was brought to your room and was absolutely beautiful.
nothing was too much trouble for Sam or Julie they were just perfect

Thank You so much for letting us borrow plates and cutlery to eat our takeaway food in our room!

we highly recommend a stay here it really is just a lovely place, ALL covid rules were adhered to at ALL times.

we look forward to staying with you again sometime soon.

When we arrived we were warmly with the welcomed by our host and shown to our rooms, because of covid 19 we had a one way system with our own front door which took us up our own staircase to our room,
which was spotlessly clean with en suite, TV, kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, good size towels and shower gel.
We had plenty of cupboard space, hairdryer, and hanging space instead of a wardrobe with which I thought was fab!
Our breakfast was plenty full a good full English, juice, cereal, toast & tea&coffee, fabulous sausage and good thick bacon all from the local butchers in Tenby.
This guest house is perfectly situated just minutes from the walk to South Beach and the town.

We stayed here between the 7-9 August the hotel is ideally located at the south beach end of Tenby. Its owned by Sam and Julie who took over earlier this year its very clean and tidy food was plentiful, they both go out of there way to make you feel very comfortable. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the town centre. Will make sure we book again when we go to to Tenby. There is limited on street parking but there is also a large carpark just around the corner if you can not find room.

This was our first visit to Tenby and it won’t be the last!

The guest house has easy access to the beach and shops, with beautiful coastal walks.

Sam and Julie made our stay relaxing and comfortable, a truly beautiful guesthouse, we would highly recommend to anyone that would want to visit

The rooms are bright and clean with plenty of space and very comfortable

We had breakfast at the guesthouse, first day a full English and the second day eggS on toast, both meals were delicious and good quality.

Can’t wait to visit again next year!

Had a lovely 3 day stay at Gumgreston and can’t recommend this place enough. Sam and Julie were great hosts. We had Room 9 and it was immaculate with everything you need for your stay mini fridge, flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities, super comfy beds. The B and B is in an excellent location within walking distance of both the town and beach and a large car park just about a minute’s walk away. Delicious breakfast cooked to order was a great start to the day. Can’t wait to return

Stayed at this fabulous guest house for 2 nights with my daughter, my sister and her family. Hosts were very welcoming on arrival and showed us to our rooms which were cleaned and freshly decorated to fantastic spec. Facilities in the room were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and caters for all needs (we have fussy children). Sam and Julie also recommended some lovely places to eat in town, coach and horses being our favourite! We were within very easy access to town and the beaches. Amazing guest house set in a fantastic place. Will definitely be visiting again!

My partner and I have just returned from a last minute, three night stay in Tenby. We booked the Gumfreston Guest House based on the amazing reviews and we're so glad we did!

The location is superb, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and just ten minutes walk from the centre of town. There is limited parking right outside of the property but there is ample parking just around the corner in a car park for just £7 for 24 hours. On this occasion, the hosts were able to save us a parking space outside of the guest house, which was very unexpected.

We booked the last room available, which was smaller than we would usually prefer, but it was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and incredibly quiet. In fact, considering the number of rooms and location of the property, it was unbelievable quiet. We were able to leave our window open all night without being disturbed until the dawn chorus of seagulls. The bed was very comfy and we both slept really well.

Breakfast was delicious. There are plenty of cereals, breakfast bars, yogurts, fruit and traditional cooked breakfast options. The sausages are exclusive to the guest house and made by a local butcher.

We honestly couldn't fault Gumfreston Guest House and the hosts, Sam and Julie, couldn't have been any more accommodating. Sam gave some excellent suggestions of places to visit and both create a wonderfully relaxing environment.

Our stay was incredible value for money and you will get the best price by calling them and booking direct, rather than via a booking site.

Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coastline is beautiful and we will certainly return and will definitely stay at Gumfeston Guest House.

The best guest house in Tenby! @gumfrestonguesthouse

Can someone please take us back to the amazing @gumfrestonguesthouse

Brilliant rooms, friendly and welcoming owners, fab location and a great breakfast!!

We recently spent 5 nights at @gumfrestonguesthouse in 1 of their family rooms.

Location:
The location is perfect, just by South Beach (2 minutes walk) and 5 minute walk into central Tenby. There is lots to do for all including families and couples. We visited all 3 beaches in Tenby as well as the @thedinosaurparktenby
and @heathertonworld which our 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed.

Rooms:
Our family room (room 9) was spotless and spacious. The decor was beautiful, light and crisp. We slept well, the beds and pillows were very very comfortable. The room had personal touches from the owners including a big pack of cookies, much to the delight of our 6 year old!

Service:
Fantastic service. The lovely owners, Julie and Sam were friendly, welcoming and happy to help. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat in the evenings including @ongeorges @saltysbeachbarandrestaurant and @twelvetenby

Breakfast:
The best breakfast we've had at a guest house or hotel! The bacon and sausages were locally sourced. And as one of the owners is coeliac, they fully understood some of our gluten free and dietary requirements! And the first time we've had a Welsh brew, delicious tea 😋

We had such an amazing time and certainly know where to stay when we next visit Tenby - @gumfrestonguesthouse

Can't wait to go back 😊😊😊

Just returned from a short break in Tenby and stayed at this superb guest house, firstly its in a really good spot in Tenby where you can easily walk into town or the beach in just a few minutes and its also round the corner from the main car park.
The room we had was bright airy and very clean, the dining room is also really pleasant and bright and brilliantly clean.
The owners Sam and Julie really care and there is evidence of that everywhere in particular the safety of their guests during these strange times.
As many have remarked already the breakfast is excellent, Sam creates a really nice atmosphere in the dining room and Julie makes the best full english I have had anywhere.
