The room we stayed in 213 was large but very dated and tatty. Out of three lights in the ceiling fitting only one worked. The wallpaper was peeling of and the carpet was very dirty and stained. There was a great deal of dust everywhere. One of the mattresses did not have a mattress protector and no pillow protectors. The...

I'd read some very poor reviews of this hotel but for me it was OK. Very friendly attentive staff and very clean comfortable room. Good value for money and in a very convenient location on Lord Street.

We stayed here for three nights as a group of eleven. After rejecting our first room Jayne on reception was very understanding and helpful she moved us to another room that was perfectly adequate. The food was ok with plenty to choose from ,you will not starve. As a group we had a great weekend away. Thank you Scarisbrick.

Hotel is very old fashioned which is fine but maybe even a wee bit of freshening up could be done. Perfect allocation, we were on a Xmas 5 day deal which was great value. Would possibly. Is it again maybe in summer time, although it was a lovely place to visit
