Nice centrally located hotel easy to find. Has limited car parking but plenty of free parking near by. Rooms were warm and comfortable, Breakfast was very good and served freshly cooked. Nice bar/dining area, Staff were helpful and friendly. Currently under going a refurbishment which was suspended during our visit, which will make the outside of the hotel look clean...

I stayed with my Mum and Dad. I had a Double Room ( Room 10) which I was impressed with and a Big Shower. My parents had Room 5 which was very nice and well decorated. There was a Bath in the room. The food was good and the drinks are very reasonable.

We stayed for 5 nights, we'd booked with Booking dot com, a good price for us, though I will say, we'd probably pay more if needed by booking direct, we enjoyed it so much! On our arrival the welcome was pleasant, the young man was very nice, and helped with our cases [we were on the first floor], room 16....

Hi, Thank you for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. That's very kind, but we wouldn't charge you more than our listed price on booking.com, in fact we tend to offer guests a little bit of a better deal if you book with us directly. Keep that in mind for next time ;) Kind Regards, Agnes

Although it seems some work has recently been done in the rooms some details need attention like untidy bathroom grouting and filling around doors. The breakfast was very nice, rooms very cold on the second morning of our stay. Think the hotel is overpriced.
