Central London is 15 minutes by train on Heathrow Express or 45min by tube on the Piccadilly line. Booked the Ibis last minute after reading bad reviews of our original booked hotel! We stayed at a few hotels at heathrow previously, but this was a first at the Ibis. We arrived in the evening & we were greeted by a delightful young lady who finalised our online check in & we paid our car park fee with her too. Our room on the 1st floor was compact, but quite sufficient for an overnight stay, the bathroom was larger than we had in a superior room at the Ibis central in Edinburgh a few weeks ago! The bed was super comfy & we had a good nights sleep. We left early & dropped our key cards with another cheery receptionist, who wished us well on our way. Heathrow was a short drive to leave our car at terminal 3 Well done Ibis Heathrow, it was perfect!!

Hotel's Favourite
Probably the best airport hotel we've stayed at for years. Things I loved were: 1. Enthusiastic staff and management. When we arrived, the manager helped with the check-in process and both he and the receptionist were friendly and professional. 2. We loved the modern interior design of the lobby. The Pool table is a great idea! My partner and I had a few games in the evening and it was great fun and a great addition to the hotel. 3. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient and the food itself was delicious. The coffee was lovely too and we liked the coffee machine which plays a funny little song when it dispenses the drink! 4. The barman was very friendly too (I think his name was Tony?) I placed an order for a pizza and fries at the bar for dinner and he made sure the pizza base was cooked perfectly (the bar has a pizza oven on it, which was cool). The fries and pizza were both delicious and very fairly priced. 5. We loved the rooms. For starters, they're very modern and cosy. There is an air conditioning and heating system which is very effective, but you can also open the window if you prefer fresh air. The windows are sound proofed so no noise from outside. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good sized TV on the wall. Sachets of coffee, milk pots and sugar are provided, which was great. The kettle boils quickly and the inroom hairdryer was a powerful model (unlike some hotels where the hairdryer is poor). 6. The bathroom was very elegant and modern with a nice shower. We hate hotels that have a glass wall that separates the bathroom from the bedroom. Or, bathrooms where the door is just a single pane of glass and where there's a huge gap around it. At the Ibis at Heathrow, the bathroom has a proper wall separating it from the bedroom and it also has a proper door too (it has some frosted glass on it, but this doesn't affect privacy). This all meant we absolutely oved the bathroom and would choose this hotel over a hotel which doesn't have a proper door/wall separating the bathroom and bedroom area. 7. Very convenient for getting to and from Heathrow Airport. 8. A modern, welcoming and boutique ambience throughout the lobby area. Makes you feel like your in a much more expensive hotel. Its the kind of lobby you can spend time in with your partner, business colleagues or friends; relaxing and having a nice drink or meal. I also liked the colour scheme in the hotel. The colour choice is warm, relaxing and cosy. Some hotels are too bright and it hurts the eyes when you have jetlag. This Ibis has a nice colour scheme of red and black and the dark ceilings in the lobby actually do help when you're jetlagged and don't want lots of bright light and bright colours. 9. The breakfast area is very comfortable to sit in and there's a wide selection of delicious hot and cold options. The sausages, scrambled eggs and hash browns were all delicious and a great start to the day. The coffee was also high quality and tasty. Not cheap gunk. 10. The lobby, bedrooms, bathrooms and public corridors/hallways were all in excellent condition. Clean, well maintained and welcoming. I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. We were both exhausted arriving at the hotel as we had been on an overnight flight. I contacted the hotel 24hrs before arrival and asked if we could check-in early. The hotel were very accomodating and accepted this request. Excellent managament and excellent staff. Five stars!

We stayed care of Loganair. An excellent hotel, nice bedroom with all facilities. Had lunch, dinner & breakfast via voucher. All meals enjoyable. NB Complimentary meals did not work for children. No special meals, hotel took pizza off lunch menu, leaving an adult menu. The dinner at 9 o'clock was too late for little ones. Breakfast fine. Note bus only once an hour from/to Heathrow.

We had a lovely pre flight stay here check in was friendly and helpful our room comfortable and clean. We ate dinner in the bar where service was good and quick and the food was good. Breakfast altho busy was also good and plentiful.. The only down size is the utterly overpriced self service food and drink "shop" ibis this let you down. If you need supplies 10 min walk to a row of shops.

The best staying experience ever at this hotel. Our checkin was done by amin and kuljeet. They were super professional and helped us sorting our small issues. The rooms were nice and enough for one night stay/ we will definitely come back to stay here again.

Guys if you are flying out from Heathrow this is the best hotel to go to Hotel is close to the airport in order to get as much as sleep as possible Rooms are clean and can't hear any noise from outside in order to get a peaceful sleep and not get disturbed Reception staff was great an amazing customer service provided especially by Amin who was super helpful and cordial during my check out overall this hotel will have everything you need before your flight also has a shop inside the hotel open 24/7 definitely recommended
