Terrible experience. The automated check in didn't work. Staff that were supposed to help didn't care with no customer service acumen. And I got charged twice for a room. Second time I wasn't even in the country. Surely this is a fraudulent act?

Great hotel,2 minute walk to the north terminal,if you’re flying out of the south terminal there’s a free monorail that runs 24/7 it’s much quicker getting to the south terminal than staying in the south side hotels.The food and facilities are really top class,we did pre book the restaurant in in evening as it tends to get busy,the staff are really nice and friendly and very helpful,especially on checking in,I couldn’t work out how to check in on the self service machines,but a lovely young lady came over and saved my blushes,just Booked again for October can wait,just one more thing for smokers you don’t have to go down and outside as the doors are open by the restaurant that take you to the smoking area.

This hotel is actually on the airport campus so no need for a transfer as there is with some hotels that advertise themselves as being at the airport. It's in the North terminal but it doesn't matter if your flight goes from north or south as there's a free very regular monorail train that shuttles between. Check in is easy you can do it yourself at a machine (which we did it's great) or there's a receptionist. The hotel is clean spacious tidy and comfortable and perfect if you have an early flight. I didn't personally go to the bar this time but my husband came back pissed so I'm presuming the lager is still good. Another great stay I've no doubt we'll be back.

BEWARE! we have just received a parking fine for dropping off at this hotel. We were unaware of this charge and so was the person staying overnight at the hotel so they did not enter the vehicle registration number. Fine received over 6 weeks later!

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. I am sorry to learn of the issues you encountered in your recent stay regarding the parking. Unfortunately, this is something not within our control. In regards to the ‘Drop Off charge’ Please note that this has been implemented by Gatwick Airport themselves, therefore we do not take any responsibility for the charges of this. As stated on our website, in order to avoid the £6.00, drop off charge, you are able to enter your vehicle registration on the tablet in our reception area. Once this has been entered correctly, this will then waiver the £6.00 drop off charge. Please see statement from our website below – Please note that guests being picked up or dropped off will need to provide the car registration at the reception upon check in. Guests will need to enter the car registration into the system and only guests staying with us are exempt from paying the forecourt charge. Otherwise, they will receive a PCN (Penalty Notice Charge). We take any feedback we receive seriously, and we take these opportunities to look at how we can implement further measures to improve our hotel for the future. I appreciated a lot the location (literally a 2 mins walk from the airport with two huge bags) and quality of the hotel. Bed and bedding were awesome. It was quiet inside the room, so I could switch off and recharge after multiple flights before the last delayed one. The breakfast & dinner option was very convenient. The check-out time was very decent - 12 pm. It was clean and cosy inside. Turned out to be way-way better than I could have hoped for.

This is the best place to stay if you have a flight the following day it takes the hassle out to getting caught in traffic while trying to catch you plane, or coming very early off a flight and need to crash before heading home, Check in was easy we also booked our slot for dinner when checking in as we were told it gets busy gets pretty busy, Also if you don't have a reservation, no dinner The bedroom was nice the beds very comfy, no surprise there You get basic WiFi, though you can up grade if you wish at a price... Dinner was very busy, because we booked, we where seated and food came very quickly, the food quality and presentation was brilliant, our server Madialin made the dining experience fun. There was a 24 hour costa on site also, breakfast was just as good as dinner, check out was fast and efficient. Would defiantly book again if i have another flight out of Gatwick.

We havent stayed here but when we were leaving The South Terminal at Gatwick and needed help finding our Premier Inn we met a young man and asked him directions. His name was Oakley and worked at The North Premier Inn. We did not know that at the time! What an absolute angel this young man was. He got on the bus with us and even pressed the bell for us to get off😇please please please let this fine young man know how eternally grateful we are! A star in the making🌟

We ate in the restaurant and were shown to a grubby wet table which they had just put new cutlery on. We asked for another table and got one that was cleaner on the top but disgustingly sticky on the edges. While we were there a lady was shown to the table on my right which had not been cleaned after the previous people left. When I raised it with the manager he clearly did not care. In the wake of Covid this lapse of hygiene is unforgiveable. We use this hotel regularly but next time I will take my own food!

We stayed here overnight we had to change rooms three times because the ultimate WiFi in the plus rooms was terrible they need to get signal enhancers installed as you are paying extra for the plus rooms and the ultimate WiFi is included so you expect it. The dinner and breakfast was spot on apart from not having orange juice which seems to be a problem in Premier inns for months. The staff say there is a shortage but there’s not you can buy it and other places ie restaurants and other hotel chains are still serving it so don’t know what the issue is. Would stay here again but just in a standard room and save some money has the WIFI is terrible in the rooms

I would like to start by stating my sincere apologies for the inconvenience of the issues you encountered regarding the Wi-Fi. Our Wi-Fi is supplied by a 3rd party company, therefore we sometimes encounter minor issues that are beyond our control. We also do work hard alongside them to try and resolve these issues as quickly as we can. Once again I would like to apologise that your stay was impacted by this. In regards to the dinner and breakfast, I am delighted to note that this was 'spot on' apart from not having orange juice. I appreciate that other hotels do have the option of orange juice; however, our shortage is with our supplier. This issue is beyond the hotels control, we are in contact with the supplier, in the hopes that the option of orange will return in the very near future. I would like to apologise for any disappointment that was caused by this. We take all feedback on-board and we use this to implement further measure to avoid these issues in the future. We’re regular visitors to this Premier Inn. Family room is always a good option - clean, good value, fine for a one night stay before an early flight. One gripe - the Wi-Fi. The standard Wi-Fi never works properly so you need to fork out £5 for 24 hour access to the premium Wi-Fi. Not sure how long Premier Inn can keep this ruse going in the 2020s!
