We had an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. Everything was perfect - welcome, room, service, etc. Dinner was magnificent, the wine even more so. The sommelier looked after us wonderfully. This was an anniversary treat - and it lived up to expectations. No, it exceeded them.

We needed a twin-bedded room with bath and, unfortunately, the only one available was on the street side of this charming hotel. Be warned, early morning traffic can be very disturbing when traveling over the frequent speed-bumps in this attractive town where the A380 wings are finally off-loaded from their sea excursion from UK! That was the only negative comment...

We chose this hotel as midway between Bordeaux and the Dordogne, and also for the foodie connections with Helene Darroze. It was easy to find, and had plenty of parking. We had a friendly greeting from the young lady receptionist who carried our bag to the first floor for us. The room was modern and attractive and large enough for...

We spent one night in this hotel on our way to to the Pyrenees as it had been recommended by a friend. Our stay was all our friend said it would be! We had a lovely meal served in enclosed garden at the back of the hotel which was sheltered by a canopy of tree branches. The meal was served...

I stayed here en route down to Sete on The Med by bike. I was with two friends. The rooms were pretty spacious and tastefully decorated. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and attended to our needs. We wanted to forward on some of our luggage which she arranged without a problem. We ate in the restaurant and had...

Very nice and cosy room with a big bathroom. All newly renovated in a nice country style. Sheltered garden perfect for a cup of coffee or a drink. We had a 4/5 course dinner of very good quality, but the restaurant was very busy, so the meal lasted almost 4 hours. Breakfast was ok, but as they serve gourmet dinners,...

While travelling for business this hotel was recommended by a colleague. Despite being on the top floor with no lift, my room had a modern yet French countryside feel. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. I suspect "foodies" would love the menu... The staff were friendly informed and most helpful. Good value.
