15 of us were in Stirling for a hen weekend and as I had stayed at the hotel once before with work it was the first place I thought of when looking for somewhere to book for lunch. I called at 10am on a Saturday morning and they took our lunch reservation without battering an eyelid despite the fact they...

Great nights sleep, in a comfy best and a room where you could turn off the radiator and open the windows. Good facilities in the room and communal areas good. Unfortunately the advertised car park is a joke, with little space and staff bizarrely encourage double parking. We fell victim to this practise when trying to leave. Unfortunately there was...

Old fashion hotel in the center of Stirling. Classy and with free parking. Rooms clean but a bit small. Very good breakfast (more Scottish than English). High courtesy, high standard. Very good also the bar

My wife and I stayed here over Valentines weekend. I grew up in Stirling and Linlithgow and had not been back for forty years. My parents used to go Ballroom dancing at the Golden Lion Hotel when I was a child. The hotel itself reeks of history as do many parts of Scotland. It is an old hotel, dating back...

Spent the weekend at this Hotel. Was for my son's 16th birthday. This hotel gave us access to cinema, shops, restaurants all within walking distance. Parked car in small car park at rear, so didn't use it until we left which was good. Hotel itself is ok, needs generally upgrading, particularly the hallways & bedrooms. Bathroom we had was modern...

We attended a Burns supper at the hotel. The meal was fine but the beef a little dry. Our room was large clean and neat we were quite impressed. Our room was quite noisey throughout the night because of the central location. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Car parking is limited. After midnight we waited 25 mins at the...

My husband and I visited for a couple of days away. It's very difficult to find this hotel because of the very confusing one way system in the town. We managed to park in the very cramped car park however scratched our car on a high kerb in the difficult process of trying to get out. The reception area is...

Stayed here for two nights, located on the main street, ideal for shops, cafes, pubs and about a five minute walk from bus and train station. Our room was good, no complaints everything you would look for was there, kettle for hot drinks, iron and board and hairdryer bathroom was bright and modern. For breakfast you get a good selection...
