Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arrived for a full Scottish breakfast. VERY tasty but very limited items. 1 link sausage,1 rasher of bacon, very little scrambled eggs, tiny amount of baked beans. Tea and coffee was very nice. A full Scottish should be a FULL Scottish though.

Having stayed in Stirling several times with my husband & enjoyed dinners in Fletchers it was an overnight stay with my friend that I realised just how excellent this place is..Saturday night great food aside! Easy check in & from start of our overnight stay to checking out every thing was spot on. All the staff were so friendly & accommodating. Room was spot on with lots of extras, biscuits with tea/coffee, toiletries, complimentary water, iron, hairdryer, full length mirror. Breakfast between 8 & 10am on a Sunday is perfect timing & it was faultless. My friend & I were able to leave our luggage in Fletchers till our transport arrived. Will be back in May with hubby for dinner & have already booked for my next overnight visit with my friend. Fantastic rates & amazing service from start to finish. Also perfect location.

We were a group of 18 cousins & partners getting together for the first time in 7 years. We’d booked a private dining room for an evening meal on a Saturday from the set course menu. (Only £5 deposit per head, so low risk). Service was very efficient and with a smile. Each course was brought out by multiple servers such that there only a couple of minutes between the first and last being served. Drinks ordered at the bar were brought to the room by the bar staff. To a person people praised the food. Good portions. After we had finished the meal we were able to remain in the room. Plus they made it very easy to pay the bill individually or as couples. 18 very satisfied customers.

Free car park, handy for central Stirling amenities and shopping. Room was absolutely fine. Plenty hot water , nice white fluffy towels and toiletries. Only ate breakfast there which was fine. All in a great wee deal with Itison and would return again. Staff all friendly and welcoming.

Looked on various sites and this Restaurant with rooms ticked all the boxes. This is an older building with sash windows and will take some upkeep - there are some blemishes in the hotel and rooms but I’d call them character! Little things like loose fittings, cracked tiles and areas that would benefit from a bit of paint. The sash windows do let a bit of noise in and with the establishment being set on a busy roundabout - it can be noisy. However. The welcome we received was fantastic and the room (despite the dinks and bings) was warm, clean and comfortable. The shower was incredibly powerful and a pleasure to use. Breakfast was excellent, my wife had eggs Benedict and myself the full Scottish breakfast - just excellent. We were welcomed to the Rooms by Stuart who also hosted us for breakfast - an absolute star who couldn’t do enough for us. The price paid for the room and breakfast is VERY good value for money. Would we stay here again? Definitely.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Room was clean and beds really comfortable. Great night's sleep on both nights. Food was delicious and staff couldn't have been any more accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant/staff and will definitely return.

Stayed here for 2 nights b&b. Great place and area for getting out and about. Free parking too. The staff here are a joy...very welcoming and actually are interested in the customers. Nothing any hassle for them. I do have to say that the quality of food here is unreal. Fresh, local produce is used, and the chefs are definitely getting it right here! We had breakfast and dinner, and my taste buds were awakened !! Nice restaurant surroundings too. Our room was clean ,fresh linen and towels ,and cosy. I do feel the furniture is very dated and tired, and doesn't match the "feel" you get from this building, I could see these rooms ( only 7) being revamped ,and being a "boutique " feel, but of,course ,money and time may hamper this. Nevertheless we are definitely coming back,to stay, and definitely EAT here again.

Here for one night on an Itison deal. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and clean. A bit well used in parts (Room 6) which is why not giving 5 stars. Had a great sleep, comfy bed, great breakfast choice and Wi-Fi. Definitely would recommend an itison deal. The location is excellent for waking around old Stirling and the free parking was a bonus.
