Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This lovely hotel is situated in the middle of Stirling , very near the bus and railway stations. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and very good value. The breakfasts were equally good. Choice of drinks is also very good. Our room was small but very functional and comfy with the exception of the mattress which was knackered and flat on one side. Unfortunately our room was clearly under the loo and we had the sound of footfalls to contend with late at night and early morning with the accompanying sound of people using the facilities leaving nothing to the imagination! We laughed it off but others might not.

Good value for our money, nicely decorated room with Scottish accents, appeared to be very recently refurbished. We had a room downstairs, underneath the restaurant and as it was Mothering Sunday it was heaving but we were still greeted warmly and told everything we needed to know by the host. Real family feel to rooms and restaurant and staff which you just don't get in large chain type accommodation. We are going to come again despite it being 3 1/2 hours from where we live as there is lots to see and do in the area. Great for a stop off to the Highlands if you didn't want to drive all day. Check out is 11am which allows a quick nap after breakfast, just as well as there is a good choice and generous portions of quality local produce.

Wonderful two night stay at Allan Park. A big thank you to everyone who made my stay a five star experience. I really enjoyed being here - it was smart yet relaxed and friendly yet professional. The atmosphere at the Allan Park makes you want to linger longer! The food was fantastic - separate review left. I am already looking at when I can return to Allan Park.

Room was a great size, clean and well stocked with snacks, teas and coffees. Bed was comfy and room was quiet considering a vibrant wee restaurant and pub downstairs. Clean towels daily and staff could not have been more helpful. Would definitely return and recommend to friends heading to Stirling for a visit.

What a gorgeous little treasure tucked away in Stirling! I have eaten here several times and the food is fabulous, but this is a first time staying and it won't be the last! Rooms are immaculate, beautifully furmished and the beds so comfortable. Staff absolutely delightful and couldn't do enough to get things just right. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this for an overnight in the heart of Stirling.

Having stayed in the Allan Park on a number of occasions I have to say that our room (Ledi) was pretty disappointing. We have stayed in this room before and noted that none of the decor had been updated since our previous stay some years ago. The bathroom/showerroom was disappointing. It needs updating, the grouting in the shower needed ripped out and replaced. The toilet roll holder had not been replaced. In the bedroom the ceiling lights did not work and the room was cold and you could not regulate the temperature on the radiator. On Sunday morning my husband and I ordered pouched eggs and toast. After 40 mins the eggs arrived and were much more like boiled eggs. We complained and were offered a replacement but we did not feel like waiting for another breakfast. These issues mean we will not be staying in the Allan Park again, which is a shame as this was our favourite place to stay in Stirling.

We highly recommend The Allan Park Hotel & Restaurant. It has a good location in Stirling on a relatively quiet side street with free private off street parking. The staff in the hotel & restaurant are excellent. They bend over backwards to provide good, friendly and helpful service. We had a small problem in our bathroom & shower, but they were very responsive. And importantly, we felt we received terrific value for money. Our bedroom and bathroom were both adequately sized, and well equipped to meet our needs. Breakfast was superb, with a selection of meals beyond a “full Scottish”.

Whether you are local or travelling this is a fabulous place. The food was delicious, the accommodation was impressive, tastefully refurbished with the end result of really cosy, comfy rooms. Finally the staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. We would love to come back soon.

What a great experience at this hotel. The food, the room, the atmosphere. What a great place to stay. Very pleasant staff, small menu but food really good. Bonus is a good on site carpark. Great value place will definitely stay again when in the area.
