Booked this guesthouse after I saw many good reviews on Trip advisor. The reviews I have since discovered were for the previous owners but fear not, Richard the new owner of 5 weeks is doing a good job with a lovely down to earth nature and very friendly. As I said this guesthouse is suitable for families or lone guests...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The new owner Richard is polite and very welcoming. He cooks a delicious British breakfast and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. The room we stayed in had a magnificent view. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would recommend 10 out of 10! We look forward to our next visit.

Most reviews of this guest house relate to the previous owners so we'd like to support the new owner, Richard, who is charming and personable and will go out of his way to maximise your enjoyment of this quiet, cosy and comfortable guest house. If we ever return to Stirling we'll be sure to stay here again, not least for...

This guesthouse certainly is one of the best accomodations I have ever stayed at in Scotland. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and caring. The location is located in the center of Stirling so places of interest, railway station and the local pubs are only a minute's stroll away. Slept most comfortable there and breakfast is affectionetly prepared according to...

Stayed 3 nights in ground floor room, warm, welcoming, clean and relaxing. Really lovely breakfasts. Staff and owners really helpful, they couldn't do enough to help you. Quite central location, handy for restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Tidy comfortable room with en suite shower etc, fantastic breakfast that set me up for the day, and very helpful hosts. Situated near the railway station, and only a shortish (uphill) walk to the castle, Argylle's Lodging, and a very interesting church with spectacular evening sunset views from a viewpoint nearby. I would recommend this guest house to anyone, and...

David, Many thanks for your very kind comments, we really appreciate you taking the time to do this. It is always good to know that guests enjoyed their stay. The hosts are welcoming and cheerful. We stayed for a night in one of the rooms at the top floor. It was quite warm as the bedroom is under the roof... But very quiet at night, which is appreciated. Breakfast is classical and simple, scrambled eggs were not very tasty though..

I stayed one night at Munro Guest House on my way elsewhere in Scotland. Alex and Ena are very kind, welcoming hosts. Alex shared some information about Stirling to help be orient myself in the town and recommended a few good restaurants. The B&B is on a quiet street in the heart of Stirling -- close to both train and...
