Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Every Premier I have stayed, I have been quite comfortable. This one was even better - it was cozy! I stayed two weeks, and found the location to work incredibly well. Thank you and cheers to Mackenzie, Carrie, Heather, Alister, Nikola, Wee and Not so wee Louisa(s). I truly hope to return on my next gallivant.

Our recent stay at this premier inn was disappointing. We were allocated a room at the end of the ground corridor. Going along the corridor we were left in the dark and couldn’t find our way to our room. Luckily we were able to find a phone and use the torch on it to get to our room. Later in the evening when we tried to use an iPad we found that we couldn’t connect to the wifi which was annoying. Now on to breakfast. We had to walk in the cold to the Beefeater next door. Breakfast was disappointing. The orange juice wasn’t proper orange juice, something ? diluted. Probably the cereal etc was okay but the station where you got your coffee was dirty and sticky. Also the wall, where we were sitting, just inside the door, was dirty with remnants of food. I have never experienced this in a premier in, where I stay regularly. We were disappointed and won’t return to this one.

The room I was given had a strong smell of damp and there was a stain of spilled juice etc down one of the walls. Not up to the usual cleanliness expected from premier inn. Other than that it was as expected with a comfy bed.

This was my first visit to this hotel. Good size car park. Check in took an age with about 6 people queuing and only one member of staff checking people in. However once checked in, everything was fine. Room modern, clean and tidy with good WiFi. Very quiet during the night so had a great night sleep. Decent restaurant next door as well.

Lovely and helpful staff. Special thanks to Ruaridh for sorting out our room heating. Easy access to-town centre cinema across the road and Beefeater next door. Ideal for one/two nights stop. Rooms well equipped and kept very clean. Third time we have stayed here.

Room was great, tried my luck with a premier room but they were fully booked. Celebrating my wife’s birthday, we mentioned it the young lad when wee arrived and a gift of chocolates was left in our room by Mackenzie, was helpful along with all the staff, with directions and attractions to do during our two night stay. I personally find only in Scotland people are so friendly, everyone who we passed said hello or how are you today. Breakfast was a little bit slow but no major issues. The lad who served us breakfast both mornings was fab didn’t catch his name pass on the thank-you for looking after us. Town is not far from hotel with a Nando’s across the landing.

Really happy with everything. Staff were friendly and the room was very nice and was clean. The bathroom was particularly nice and it was good the room had read and coffee always available. Hotel was only a short walk to everything so was very convenient.
