Just heard that Moreton House has been voted the best Dog-Friendly B&B in Pembrokeshire 2018! Not only that, Saundersfoot has got the best Dog-Friendly town/village award, for the second year running. Can’t say we were at all surprised! We have been coming to Saundersfoot for many years, staying at Moreton House, and we have seen first-hand the care and attention Angela & Roger give to all their guests – two and four-legged. Although we are not dog owners, we are dog lovers so we have experienced the best of both worlds over the years. We fell in love with the owners’ previous dogs Sam & Zoe and were very sad at their passing last year. However, we were introduced to their successors Harry & Meghan (yes, really) earlier this year and they are a delight. We have made friends with other guests’ dogs too. So, you really don’t need to own a dog to stay at Moreton House, but if you do then there is nowhere better you could wish to stay. Lovely location, fantastic hosts and wonderful hospitality. Well done!

We stayed at Moreton House with our little Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and had a really magical stay. The rooms were absolutely perfect and really spacious. We had everything we needed to make our stay a delight and it was really nice for the dog to walk onto the balcony and say hello to the dog on the next balcony along! We really enjoyed chatting to Angela and Roger who made our stay so enjoyable, and the fresh cooked breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Hope to go back soon.

Lovely couple of days stay at this very dog friendly B&B. Room we had was excellent with loads of room for us and our dog with a nice balcony to take in the view of the sea in the distance. We were well looked after by Angela and Roger during our stay with their home cooked breakfasts and fresh bread each day. To find Moreton House use the directions provided by Angela and you won't get lost.

Of course, you don't HAVE to have a dog to stay here, but it is perfect for those of us that do. The owners Angela and Roger have always had dogs, understand they are part of the family, and are welcomed as such. No charge for dogs, or restriction on numbers (within reason of course!). Rooms are spacious, with plenty of room for your furry friends to stretch out. Another great advantage over other B&B's we have stayed in are the private balconies, perfect for a summer evenings sundowner, and the summer house in the back garden with it's own kitchen facilities. The host's don't provide evening meals but are perfectly happy for you to bring in take-aways (and give some excellent local advice on where to go). If you still have room after the generous and delicious breakfasts.... It's a very peaceful location, but a nice stroll to Saundersfoot itself down rural lanes and footpaths. Do pay close attention to instructions provided on booking to find the place, as it is tucked away down some narrow lanes, and forget using a satnav which will send you round in circles! Pembrokeshire is a beautiful county, and there are plenty of all year round dog friendly beaches and attractions in the local area.

A lovely b and b that is dog friendly. The room was spacious and had a balcony- but it is the little details that were important - a great selection of teas, coffee and chocolate + biscuits in the room. A fridge is provided for your use but with fresh milk daily. There was even a hairbrush provided [ as well as hairdryer of course] Breakfasts were splendid with local produce used. A well equipped summerhouse is available if you want to cook your own food. The house is well situated for exploring Saundersfoot and surrounding areas and Roger and Angela such welcoming and friendly hosts. They are also clearly dog lovers. I have no hesitation in recommending this place and do hope to revisit in the future
