We stayed here Saturday night - we made a last minute booking as our original accommodation had to cancel our booking due to having no power due to the storms. The Harbourlight is run be two very lovely people who clearly work had to keep their guests happy - Steve came out to the car as soon as we arrived and offered to help us with our bags. What a lovely man - he talked us through check in and we were booked into Room 2. The location is perfect - literally steps away from the High Street in Saundersfoot, and the amazing beachfront. We were staying overnight as we had a reservation to eat at Coast, the amazing restaurant in Saundersfoot, which is a 15 minute stroll away. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and the rooms are nice with everything you need for a great stay. The breakfast before we left yesterday was absolutely gorgeous - beautiful produce cooked really well. If you're looking for a clean, friendly place in a great location, with nice simple rooms at a good price, look no further.…
We came here as a couple with a 5 month old, we booked the family room and it was amazing. The family couldn’t of been any better, they truly would go out of their way to make sure we all were comfortable, had everything we needed and welcomed. The fact they included breakfast in the morning in with the price was so value for money! The room was very clean and great for us 3, we heard no noise at all considering the house was full and the town was busy. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, the family were truly amazing with us! The only bad thing was we didn’t stay long enough, but we’ll definitely be coming back! If you need a great place to stay right in saundersfoot town then this is your place!
Five of us have spent a week staying at Harbourlights with Amy and Stephen. Centred Around a sea fishing trip. Car parking is on site in a private car park. All our rooms were spotless. The breakfasts freshly prepared and delicious. Amy even catered for us with breakfast at 06:30am before we went fishing. Nothing was too much trouble and all done in compliance with Covid-19 rules. I would recommend Harbourlights to anyone going to Saundersfoot.
We stayed for one night at the Harbourlight. Lovely room in a perfect location with very friendly and helpful owners. Great breakfast in the morning and everything done to make sure that the premises is Covid secure. The first time we’ve visited but will definitely return.
Steve and Amy are great hosts. I arrived late in the evening and Stevve came out to the car park to greet me and help me with my bags to my room. I was given more than I paid for with an upgrade to a larger family room with a spacious en suite. The other guests at breakfast were friendly regulars, the place had a comfortable feel about it. The breakfast timing was 8:15 - 9:00 which is quite limited but understandable with the number of rooms to cater for. Everything about the service was bespoke though, I don't think any 2 people gave the same order with Porridge or beans on toast to full English coming out of the kitchen freshly made in good time. As much tea, coffee and toast as you could possibly need too! Situated very close to the shops bars and beach it was great to park up and just walk a few steps to everything and I imagine that in the summer the free parking is a godsend in this little village. It was greaat to be able to give a good review as I am a harsh critic and sometimes I think that too many bad reviews devalues your opinion. But here credit goes where credit is due.…
This is our second stay with Amy and Steve, very pleasant, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, rooms lovely and clean and plenty of hot water. Clean crisp sheets rooms tided each day tea coffe hot chocolate biscuits filled and fresh towels . Luggage carried up to room, breakfast fresh and if hungry when you leave, that’s your fault, as plenty to choose from. Thank you for another great stay looking forward to our next visit. Carry on with the good work
Excellent customer service. Detailed information is provided for the Guest house and the area, which was very helpful. Lovely clean bedroom and bathroom, with ample, crisp, white towels and products to use. They even provided hot chocolate and biscuits with the tea and coffee in the bedroom. Cooked breakfast was yummy, lots to choose from for everyone. Good quality branded cereal, jams, even chocolate spread for the kids. Lots of juice, tea and coffee. Right near the beach and shops. I would definitely stay again when visiting Tenby. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We have previously stayed at Harbourlight a couple of years ago. We returned recently for a long weekend in Pembrokeshire as part of our motorcycle tour. Booking was not a problem, but better to book direct rather than a booking site. On arrival we were met by Amy who offered to assist with luggage. We were shown to Room 2 on the first floor and with en-suite. It was big enough as a double room. The en-suite is quite small. The shower lacked power with a lack of water pressure. I would expect it to be picked up by regular maintenance. The room was tidy and clean. The doors in the hotel could do with a smooth close action , as there were lots of banging of doors. The car park has space for around 6 vehicle, double parked . We had no issues with parking. The venue is about 1 min from the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants. At the top of the hill, it was not affected by noise. Breakfast is only between 8.15 and 9.00am, which was OK for us, but might be a little restricted for some. Steve is the perfect host with constant toast and coffee, while Amy gets on cooking the first class breakfast. All in all a nice little, family run, no frills guesthouse which does what it says on tin. It’s not a 5* top of the range, but still good value for money. Steve and Amy are perfect hosts and very helpful if you need them.…
My wife and I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June as part of a tour round Wales. We were very pleased with our choice. Finding it was easy - the one way system guides you straight past it. We had no trouble parking, although if the hotel had been busier we can imagine some more difficulty could arise, as the car park is not large enough to hold one car for every room. We were greeted in a very cheery way, and as we were the only guests we were given a big family room for the two of us - the bathroom was also large, and we used the bunk beds as extra storage space. The hotel's location is ideal, two minutes' walk from the seafront. The breakfast was very good and for other meals there are plenty of places to eat in Saundersfoot, although to get any interesting food it can become expensive. Basic decent meals are no problem, however. Possibly the hotel would be less relaxing when full, but I am sure it would still be a good choice.…
I booked this as last minute trip for our family. Kids loved the family room and bunk beds. Had a view of the sea even. Price was very competitive. And the couple that were running it were friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent basicly in the centre of saundersfoot. And parking was available at the guest house free. I would stay again.
