Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were very impressed with the guesthouse and the warm welcome we received The room was spotless, well furnished and very comfortable with a clear attention to detail. The breakfast was well presented, very tasty and included delicious homemade bread and preserves with locally sourced products. The location was ideal, just a short walk (although hilly which some would struggle with) to the beach and into Saundersfoot, There is a beautiful, large sunny garden to the rear of the guesthouse with very comfortable garden chairs and we sat outside with a beer and glass of prosecco enjoying the sunshine on one evening. Sue and Dave have also dealt with the covid restrictions really well, it felt really safe and breakfast in the room was very enjoyable. Thank you both for a great few days and also for the two plant cuttings which will be in my garden border very soon!!

On arrival we were given a very warm welcome by Sue, Dave and Ruby. We had a room over looking the garden which was lovely. The rooms and communal areas were all spotless and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Hot and cooked to order with homemade preserves. It was a real home from home which we would highly recommend and would definitely stay at again.

Our first time stay at the Woodlands but we're sure it will not be the last. What a gem to have found! We were made to feel so welcome by the superb hosts, Sue and Dave, for whom nothing was too much trouble in making our stay a pleasure - they make you feel special and somehow are able to find time to chat to offer valuable ideas of places to visit. Spotless, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts benefitting from home cooking - home made bread, preserves etc.. We also enjoyed being able to relax in the attractive garden at the end of a busy day. All this and a great location with access close to secluded beaches. No hesitation in being able to recommend the Woodlands to our friends

What a wonderful stay we had at the Woodlands, hosted by Sue and Dave. The rooms are spotless, recently redecorated during the pandemic, so it was a delight to find a B&B where you can relax without worry.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a delicious piece of lemon drizzle cake waiting for me in my room that Sue had just made. The rooms capture a stunning view which motivated me to get out and explore the delights of Saundersfoot.

The breakfasts are first class featuring local produce and a selection of preserves made by Sue.

Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and l look forward to staying with them again.

We have just spent a divine 4 night stay at Woodlands. Last year we had a problem with our heating and so booked a couple of nights. Sue and David made us so welcome that we instantly booked for this latest trip. Once again a great stay for us with both of our hosts making us feel as welcome as could be.

Breakfast whether full, partial or just yoghurt and fruit is splendid.

There is a mini fridge in each room which is stocked with water and fresh milk. Coffee bags make it the best coffee oof any hotel we have stayed in.

Once again thank you for a lovely stay and yes we will be back.

We had a three night stay with our daughter and grandsons which was very enjoyable. It is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms have good quality furnishings, bathrooms have modern suites. Fresh milk supplied every day, the room has a small fridge to keep it in. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. Sue and Dave are superb hosts very friendly and helpful. Grandsons loved fussing the cat and dog. Always plenty of room to park the car. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in Saundersfoot.

This guest-house surpassed our expectations. Before going we had a very favourable impression as our hosts had clearly made every attempt to provide caring accommodation during the pandemic. Our stay confirmed that they had gone out of their way to make a safe environment for all their guests. We had a warm welcome, a delightful room, delicious breakfasts and superb service. We are looking forward to the next time we can visit !

We've stayed at Woodlands a few times now, Sue and Dave are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are super comfy, with all the home comforts you could possibly want, and to top it all off Sue's homemade cake left every day for after a long day exploring, it's a welcome delicious treat. The breakfasts are simply brilliant, great choice of what to have, which is always delicious no matter what you choose, especially as its all homemade by Sue. Simply can't recommend Woodlands enough. Can't wait to be back in 6 weeks time. Love it. Tim and Lisa
