Had a great weekend at the Cayley Arms, made to feel very welcome by fantastic hosts Tim and Becky, who were really attentive. Our room and en-suite were really nicely appointed and we slept like logs on a very comfortable bed. All the food we had was so good, all freshly cooked and good sized portions, definitely recommend this place to stay!

We ate here on the first Friday they’d opened since lockdown. The pub looked beautiful inside and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Tim in particular was so friendly. We had dinner and some drinks and both meals were superb. I had the pork which was phenomenal and my partner had the fish and chips which were also lovely and such a good portion. We had a lovely relaxing evening, it was the first time we’d ever visited the pub, even though we only live in the next village, but it certainly won’t be our last! Thank you!

We've had a fantastic Bank Holiday visit to Pickering with the sun shining. Tim and Becky made our stay at the Cayley Arms a special one, with a warm welcome and friendly hosting throughout, along with great directions, help to sort taxis and advice on a curry house. Our room, the Grouse, was smart and cosy, with a comfy bed and a cracking double shower. The setting of the pub is lovely, with a stream running through that you can hear in bed with the window open at night, very relaxing. There are horses grazing in the field by the pub, and the outdoor seating catches the sun, with heaters outdoors for those sitting out after sundown. It's a scenic 7 min drive into Pickering, with ample parking at the B&B. We ate at the B&B one night and while the vegetarian options aren't extensive, we had a tasty meal, and Tim produced some veggie sausages for our Full English in the morning... we certainly didn't go hungry! They're a smashing couple and we'll recommend the B&B to those visiting the area.

I’ve heard many good reports about the Cayley Arms so I was exited to be going for Sunday Lunch. We weren’t disappointed, the food was very nice and well presented. The wine offers great value for decent wine. We had the Malbec which was lovely and complimented the Food. The Cayley is very professionally run , we felt very relaxed in the Covid secure environment sympathetically executed. The Landlord and Landlady gave us a warm welcome and the staff were particularly helpful and friendly. The pub has been tastefully refurbished to offer a relaxed and comfortable environment. We will be back.

An immaculate, beatifully decorated place to stay with excellent Covid measures in place. The hosts are extremely helpful and the restaurant serves first class food. Another plus is that the Inn is near the coast (Whitby/Scarborough), beautiful countryside (Rosedale /Esk valley) and family attractions ( Flamingo Land/ Castle Howard) . We would highly recommend staying at the Cayley Arms.
