We have just had an excellent meal, with great table service my partner had the giant Yorkshire loaf with beef and veg and I had the hunters chicken and onion rings as an extra, my partner said the beef was fantastic and my meal was gluten free and amazing. The menu has a huge selection especially g/f meals. The waitresses were so helpful and following the government guidelines well for Covid which was very very reassuring.

I came here for lunch with my wife and we were impressed with the food.

The food tasted amazing, was perfectly cooked and was very well presented, and was well priced for what you are getting.

The staff were friendly and polite.

There was ample free parking too.

Went for Wednesday curry night and it was disgusting even though they were not rushed as we were the only ones eating , the chicken was tough the sauce had no taste and the frozen chips were not cooked properly. When I told told the member of staff she just said she would tell the chef and still charged full price. She was more interested in slagging off the owners of the caravan park and closing early and moaning about people coming in late the night before when she wanted to close early, she clearly needs to find another job as this is a pub with customers. We had also eaten there on the Sunday and at best the food is overpriced and mediocre.

Had to book for 5 people, rang around and found this pub. Arrived, shown to table promptly, had a good range, I and another had steak, another pie, can't remember what else was ordered. Meals came out within 20mins, they were busy, all were good size and well cooked, can't fault it, steaks we order, one medium and one medium rare spot on. Service was good and Barca laugh with them. Recommend going there.

Staying at a local Premier Inn we were told of this pub by a guest as being excellent.
On arrival we were met by a lovely gentlemen who helped us park. We were then met by staff inside and shown to our table in a very friendly and welcoming manor.
The menu had been reduced compared to that on the website due to staff shortages but this was not a problem for choice.
The meals were brought out and they were all of a considerable size but the Beef filled Yorkshire was like a large brick and jammed packed with top quality beef. This was an exceptional meal. In Fact got shared between 3 so as not to waste it. All meals were consumed and really enjoyed. No room for desserts. The bill was reasonable for the quality and size of the meals. In fact we booked and went back the next night for another full belly. This pub is friendly, with Quality food at a reasonable price. They do however allow dogs which may not be to everyone's liking.

As usual fabulous food. But also the tables were actually clean and felt smooth and clean, unlike a lot of other places we have eaten recently. Top marks Black Bill for service, food and cleanliness 😁👍🏻. A final note that although almost everywhere is short staffed, the staff at this pub are so efficient you would never know, slightly less conversation but the same great service, well done everybody 😊

Just spent a fabulous couple of nights here and me and Rosie my dog had a wonderful time. The room was huge and the bed so comfy. We were looked after by everyone and made to feel very welcome
It's in a great spot for visiting the coast and the weather was very kind to us. Had a meal on my secret night and I must say it was outstanding
Thank you everything and we will be back

Booked and told we had no booking but got a table anyway. Parking difficult. Interior not great chair felt like it would collapse, curtain hanging off window. Waited over an hour for food, drinks were wrong, extras ordered never came. Food tasted deep fried and microwaved. Very disappointed as it came recommended. Staff were lovely though and did their job well.

Spent 2 nights here. Ideal for our needs. Added bonus was a fridge in our room, stocked with cold water. Not something you usually find but a bonus for us due to the hot weather. The staff make this place what it is. Every staff member we met were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was what you expect, decent pub grub. Ticked boxes for us so would book again.
