Enjoyed our stay and found the owner very welcoming. We had everything we needed and found the accommodation clean, but feel that it needs updating. Found the area around very peaceful and easy driving to all local attractions.More

It says on your website and i quote; "Some great reasons to stay at Rains Farm! Amazing location with panoramic views, very peaceful setting amidst beautiful unspoilt countryside." Can you please tell me if you intend to remove this statement once fracking gets underway? (Not that i think for one minute that it will!!) Do you seriously believe that up to 50 articulated lorries a day for months counts as "very peaceful setting"?! Do you seriously believe that the countryside will remain "unspoilt"?! Your B&B looks beautiful and it will be a great shame if the land surrounding it is destroyed by fracking pads, gas wells and don't forget the compressor stations and such like. I would say they will be quite a blight on OUR countryside. Good luck with bookings once Third Energy are finished with you.
