We spent 4 nights at Bramwood in May 2022. The owners made us very welcome and suggested places to eat and visit. Comfortable and clean room, good breakfast. Excellent base to visit North York moors etc.

We spent two nights at Bramwood House and were very impressed with the facilities. although we had the the small double room it was bigger than anticipated, spotlessly clean with modern en-suite. Bramwood is extremely well organised and nothing is too much trouble. Amazing breakfast menu which featured Salmon, Eggs Benedict and the other normal English breakfast items although we decided on a normal full breakfast which was well above the normal standard that I have experienced in B & Bs. Free parking in the Cul de sac outside was a bonus. Highly recommended.

This was our 4th stay at Bramwood Guesthouse, we always have an amazing time here and we couldn't recommend it highly enough! The location is quiet but still only a short walk to Pickering High Street, where there is a good choice of restaurants and independent shops, as well as a coop and Lidl. One of the highlights is the steam train journey to Whitby, which we always really enjoy! Bramwood Guesthouse is a beautiful traditional building and is very clean and comfortable. Richard and Helene are fabulous hosts, very friendly and helpful too. There is lots to choose from on the breakfast menu, and everything is beautifully cooked by Helene, with love and care. Richard makes sure we have plenty of tea/coffee, juice, toast and delicious jams and marmalade, always served with a smile! We pre-order the breakfast the night before, which we prefer, and it helps the very smooth and seamless running of breakfast in the morning. We love staying here every time we visit the beautiful North York Moors! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed at Bramwood House for three nights. Our accommodation was very comfortable with a view to the front of the house on a quiet street close to the centre of Pickering. Breakfasts were most enjoyable, with lots of choice and excellent service. Richard and Helene were welcoming and friendly, with a good knowledge of the area for sightseeing and recommendations for places to eat in the evening.

We have been visiting for at least 8 years now and Helene and Richard continue to be the perfect hosts at their superb guest house. I think I'm on safe ground when I say that this is our absolute favourites place to stay, everything is spotless, attention to detail is second to none and the breakfasts superb. Plus there is always time for a chat. We live it here and can't wait to return in June. See you then!

We had such a lovely stay here. the room was beautiful, cosy, warm and quiet. Helene and Richard are great hosts and the breakfasts were excellent (especially the kippers and poached egg). Superb location, central and just 2 minutes walk into town centre Also convenient for visiting other places of interest due to its central location.
