Stayed here with the wife on 26th August '23 The room was really nice, the bed was great, we were really happy with it However, as we were checking out the following day we were accused of stealing the hotel's iron!!! We had taken our own iron with us which was explained to the receptionist but he wasn't happy and wouldn't leave it - eventually we just walked away from him but we were both really annoyed by what had happened

Travelled to Auckland Hotel with Glenton Travel. The hotel is very welcoming. There is a lift and the rooms are clean, comfortable. The whole hotel has a lovely ambience. The staff are cheery , helpful and very efficient. The meals are delicious with something to suit everyone and helpings generous. I have to say the dining room is managed superbly efficiently, well done. All in all clean comfy hotel, good food, friendly staff, what more could you ask for? I would certainly visit again.

Clean rooms, lift & always manned reception is fine with decor & lounges, bar, dining room light & airy. Menu varied, nice, hot food plenty for breakfast choice available, veggie's too, although cheese & biscuits not standard with evening meal, so ask if needed as the Family, staff & kitchen work hard to please here. Helpful reception staff & the first hotel, I did not have to ask for a bath/shower mat as in place on arrival. Location ideal on front with steps & ramp easy for entrance here, great view of Morecambe Bay. R.F. Room 201 Table 5.

I stayed at the Auckland Hotel with Greenline Holidays. Was in a clean comfortable room. A problem in the room which i reported before breakfast was sorted in the morning. The food is tasty and home cooked. Also being able to double up on anything required with breakfast . Staff friendly and always willing to help. I would definitely visit again. A superb Family Run establishment.

Absolutely recommend this hotel. I booked 6x double rooms with sea view and breakfast for my friends and everyone (12) said the rooms were great! I added the extra pressure of 5 walk-in breakfasts and I was not disappointed, we all were very pleased. Brilliant staff who work extremely hard and are very efficient. Thank you

My husband and I came with Plimbley travel coach company for four nights. I rang before we came to ask if they had decaffeinated tea, which they do, plus would they mind if I bought my own coke as I have to have decaffeinated and was aware that places do not stock this. It was suggested that I could bring some for in our bedroom and maybe it would be allowed if it wasn’t possible to supply it. On arrival I found they had purchased some for me and put it in the bar fridge. Excellent! My husband was eating a soft diet as he had been in hospital with pneumonia and the high dose antibiotics and steroids had given him an extremely sore mouth. They were so obliging, e.g., replacing chips with mashed potato, giving an alternative starter when he wouldn’t be able to eat any of the options on the menu that evening. He couldn’t eat toast so they did him scrambled egg on buttered bread for his breakfast. Julie remembered after us asking on the first morning that we had decaffeinated tea. We were so very grateful for all of this. The cooked meals were always hot and there was a good choice. The room, as requested, was on the ground floor. It was a reasonable size and the bed was made, and towels changed if required, every morning. However, on the first two mornings the cups and teaspoons were not touched and the mornings afterwards seem to have just been very quickly rinsed. The carpet and bathroom floor were untouched. The rubber shower mat was quite grubby underneath. Maybe there was a shortage of cleaners that week, so the rooms were rushed to fit them all in. …

2 night stay with greenline coaches. For a trip on the settle Carlisle railway... Lovely Hotel and staff .. room was at the back , but an excellent large very clean tidy room..food was great especially the breakfast.. maybe just a little more choice.with the continental breakfasts ie boiled eggs, cheese, ham, with the croissants....would deff recommend and stay again cheers

Went on a 2 night trip with green line coaches. Can understand why they use this hotel. It's a fantastic base for day trips and the rooms, food and staff are second to none... very clean and well maintained... would recommend to anyone paying a visit to Morecambe. Hope we get the chance to return in the future.

Stayed at the Auckland Hotel for 2 nights when on a trip with Greenline Coaches. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Our room was at the rear of the property but only slept in there so didn't really matter. Hotel situated on the sea front opposite the lifeboat station. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. And finally, the food ............ LOVELY. We had 2 smashing evening meals and 2 plentiful full English breakfasts. Everything cooked to perfection . We would go again just for the food. Thank you for a lovely stay.
