We are a family run, family friendly 3 star licensed bed and breakfast which strives to make your stay as comfortable, enjoyable and stress free as possible. Be it a one night business trip to a three week holiday, we will do everything we can to ensure you will not go home disappointed. Every year since 2010 we have been awarded Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence. The building is on the promenade facing the seafront on Morecambe’s south beach, locally known as the West End. All the rooms are en-suite with toilet, sink and shower so no sharing down the corridor with other guests. What we do offer is a cosy, friendly, quiet relaxed atmosphere for you to kick off your shoes and chill. We have a licensed bar where you can enjoy a drink and a chat. You can play bar games such as darts, doms, crib or even play on the wii on a big screen TV. We love nothing better than sitting in the bar swapping jokes or life stories. We serve a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and nibbles throughout the day and evening at very competitive prices. We have a residents' lounge where you can get away from the hustle and bustle. You can watch T.V. or a DVD, select a book to read or just sit in the large bay window and watch some of the loveliest sunsets to be found in the UK. Our breakfasts are cooked to order and served to you at your table. There is also a selection of cereals and orange juice which you can help yourself to. We also stock some of the essentials that we have all left at home before such as toothpaste and brushes, shoe shine kits and sewing kits. Ironing boards and irons are available if required. As we are a B&B by the seaside, we also have a small selection of beach toys available for the kids. Buckets, spades and fishing nets of course and maybe we could find a ball or two. If we haven’t got it, just ask and we will endeavour to obtain it on your behalf. If you have any problems or queries then please, Contact Us. Our Motto There are no strangers at The Berkeley, just friends that haven’t yet met.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Enjoyable weekend at this well organised B&B, room very clean and had everything you needed for a short stay.Breakfast was very good, good choice and well cooked, served very promptly and with a friendly face.Views of Morcambe Bay,from our window, a little noisy at night but to be expected because of where you are.Would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

Room Tip: Parking is just luck to be honest, so be prepared to have to move the car about if you go out.

We had such a lovely 3 night stay here in July. The room was lovely, very comfy bed, spotlessly clean with a fantastic sea view of Morecambe Bay. Breakfast was spot on & there was a very good choice on offer, the cheese on toast was delicious! Colette & Mal were lovely, very friendly & made our stay great. We hadn’t been to Morecambe before so Colette suggested lots of places to visit, best way to get there by bus as the fare is only £2 each way along with recommendations of where to eat out. We visited York & Lancaster on the bus, bargain at £2 each. We’d definitely stay here again, great place, excellent hosts & great value. Many thanks Colette

Have stayed plenty of times, we always go back as you feel home from home. Amazing views, beach on doorstep. Shops close by. Mal does the best breakfast. Room is always immaculate. My little nieces love it if it’s nice weather as they go in the water fountains just over the road. We always have a walk down to the shops and get an ice cream. This time we enjoyed some hot sunshine on the beach and a walk in the sea. The fair was also on so this kept the kids amused. We sit in the lounge area of an evening instead of our room as we can look out at the beach and have the TV on with a nice cup of tea. Thanks for having us . See you again soon :)
