We visited for dinner with family. We had asked the waitress for medium rare burgers, she asked the kitchen but the chef said they weren't allowed to due to the food regulations which is fair enough. Many restaurants do this. Following this request, we didn't expect to be served burgers that were so over done they literally bounced on the...

Visited for mid week lunch with family and were made very welcome. For starters we had a special of Portuguese Soup (excellent), Potted Shrimps (excellent) and Prawn Cocktail which was well presented (merge portion of prawns let it down). Mains of Smoked Duck Salad, Gammon and Egg and Toad in the Hole were all well presented and delicious. As usual...

Chose this hotel via a booking site online. The room was quite small and overlooked a busy road which was noisy. The view from the first floor window was not inspiring, but the only way to achieve privacy was by lowering a very thick unwieldy fabric blind, which blocked all light out. Not ideal at 2.30 in the afternoon. When...

A flying visit for half term and a perfect place to stay. Comfortable family room, beautiful breakfasts which had something for everyone from porridge to a full Lancashire breakfast complete with black pudding. Just off the front so we were able to walk everywhere. In the evening a bustling pub with great food- we invited our nephew to join us...

From our arrival to our departure the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Baxter room was exceptional and luxurious. The food in the restaurant was first class. Had a fabulous couple of days at the Morecambe hotel and will definitely be returning.

Recently re-furbished in a way that didn`t damage the character. Service a bit too laid-back at times, but who`s rushing? Delightful garden. Only 100 yards from the Prom if you need to walk it all off a bit.

Main meal we both had steak which was cooked to perfection and the veg was lovely. Wasn't impressed with the waiting on staff sorry to say needs room for improvement with the...

Love this venue - clean, fresh, modern with good service. I do not live locally but have held two family parties there, for 10 and 20 people respectively, plus many visits with local family/friends since it was renovated/ refurbished. Always enjoy my visits and generally the food too but there is a lack of consistency in the make-up of dishes/finished...
