I normally travel with my husband but this was my first solo trip and I'm so glad I picked The Craigwell! The owners are lovely and welcoming, putting me at ease immediately. The location is fantastic, close enough to be an easy and pleasant stroll to everything but far enough out so you get total peace and quiet. The B&B... More

Stayed in the Craigwell for 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful and accommodation spotlessly clean. I had a room with a stunning view over Morecambe bay. Breakfast was excellent (especially enjoyed the local Cumberland sausages). Would definitely book this guest house again.

The view from our room was over the bay, very mesmerising to watch the tide flowing in. Tea and coffee faculties in the room along with water and biscuits... More

Stopped over the weekend, weather was glorious which always helps, chose the B&B from other reviews and the accommodation was good with us also having a view acros the bay. One word of warning if you are a light sleeper would be noise from other rooms, and the electric pump for the toilet, otherwise very comfortable and the breakfast was... More

My wife was traveling alone for a few days break and we picked this Hotel due to its great price and reviews. "Upon arrival I received a warm welcome and was shown up to my room. Stayed one night here before cycling the way of the roses. The owners were very welcoming and accommodated our request for an early breakfast (very tasty). Rooms were a good standard and free wifi very welcome. Would definitely recommend saying here. Half our group were at a different B&B which was not the same quality and missed out on breakfast.

We are in the deluxe room at the top of the building with a beautiful view of the bay. The room is very comfortable and the owners have provided a variety of teas and coffee. Breakfast was ample and delicious with a friendly and efficient service. We will be coming here again.
