Stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer; the house is immaculately presented, warm, clean and welcoming. It is decorated very tastefully and all the fittings, in the bathroom for example, were of a high standard. It is ideally situated in Aberdovey and only a few minutes walk from the beach and shops. The cooked breakfast was...

Warm welcome, friendly owners, beautiful house, immaculate room, massive, comfy bed (Room 1), amazing hot shower with nice big head, great wardrobe space, tea, coffee and biscuits in room, lovely breakfast with lots of choice for everyone. What set this B&B apart for me personally were the little touches: face towel on bathroom sink, box of facial tissues, box with...

Good location in Aberdovey within walking distance of all amenities including the golf club, railway station and good eating places. Very friendly welcome. A lovely communal lounge to sit and chat at the end of the day. The rooms were a very high standard, with thoughtful touches, making the stay very homely. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely house opened to guests by the owners Linda and Mike who work hard to ensure their house is a welcoming home from home( which Cartef means in Welsh). Very convenient for travellers coming by train as the station is immediately opposite. Welcomed with tea and Barra Brith. Comfortable room with everything you could want for a...

This is by far the best guest house/B&B that I have stayed in. Recently refurbished to a very high standard. Spacious comfortable room, excellent shower, friendly hosts & a fantastic breakfast. Perfect location for Aberdovey centre, beach & the surrounding countryside. I will stay here again.

An absolute gem of a B & B. Comfortable beds, and well appointed rooms. Delicious fresh cooked breakfasts, lovely residents lounge to relax in, even with wine glasses for that much needed drink. Ideally situated within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. An excellent find and one to be recommended.
