Main area of hotel looked quite good, but I feel the quality of the rooms were paying for it! Stayed one night, beds made up in a hurry, only four hangers in the wardrobe, two small sticks for tea and coffee instead of spoons, on line shows well stocked toiletries on bathroom shelf in reality a dispenser on the wall! Large bath but no shower attachment on the taps to rinse your hair. The main window was locked in position for safety reasons, but would open literally 1" room consequently room was too hot as unable to ventilate. The website shows a vista view of the Marina, we had a scruffy disused yard (see photo) ten foot away was a ledge with roosting pigeons who "cood" for most of the time and decided to fight at 6am waking us up. Breakfast was average, but no fruit. However the staff were friendly and helpful and we do realise we just coming out of a pandemic where the hospitality industry has suffered greatly. However, I have to compare with similar stays, at a cost of £122 for one night it was not cheap, and would have expected better. The previous night we stayed at an accommodation for £55 the standard was higher. I know this may sound "picky" to some, but it is based on price and expectations, which did not match.

Booked a triple room for three friends staying overnight in Bangor. The Marine Court Hotel is in an ideal location and we were given a room overlooking the entire marina....a stunning view especially in the hot weather. We felt we were in the South of France!! Car parking was available right outside the door...the receptionist was very friendly and informative of where to get the best cocktailS in Bangor!! Room had three very comfortable single beds, adequate bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and TV/Netflix. Breakfast was served on the first floor overlooking the Marina..again with fabulous views looking out to sea. A cooked breakfast was served along with tea/coffee/juice. This is a wee gem of a hotel......great price and service and we would definitely recommend a stay!!

We stayed here for one night for the bed, breakfast and dinner deal on Sunday 29th August. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We had booked a sea view room and definitely got it with a beautiful view onto the sea and marina. Room was clean, comfortable and not too hot like other hotels and we got a great nights sleep even though we had expected more sea front noise from outside. If there was, we didn’t hear it.

Dinner was brilliant and especially loved the chilli nacho starter. Our waitress was again very friendly and approachable. Wasn’t expecting a cocktail menu and though it wasn’t on the menu I made a specific request for an expresso martini made with rum and not vodka and the bar kindly obliged and made me a few of these during the evening.

Breakfast in the morning was from a limited covid times cooked menu but I can highly recommend the eggs benedict. All in all we loved our stay, bonus for the wonderful restaurant and bar staff and we will definitely stay here again.

Was very disappointed with our stay last night. Myself and 9 others had 5 rooms booked, not sure about the other rooms but our toilet flushed barely worked as well as faulty lights.
Dinner was booked for 7pm, our first waitress was lovely, after that it went down hill. A blonde over tanned waitress was so rude and completely full of attitude to some of our company. I work in the hospitality industry and I know I would not have accepted or tolerated her behaviour. Anyway, got our starters out and cleared then every other table that came in after us was served before us starters & mains which led to some of the group deciding not to eat. (Still paid for of course) the menu wasnt as good as previous visits, for example last year we all had steak. Also in reference to last year, our eating time was 8pm and we were in the entertainment room after 9. Last night it took 3 hours start to finish for those who actually stayed for dessert. We were told at dinner the room was first come first serve, no reservations. Walk in to the room & guess what? Tables reserved. Breakfast also was not great, everyone ordered food, all clearly, came out and no ones was correct. Everything was over cooked and rock solid, our first coffee/tea was freezing then when everyone else joined the tea/coffee was roasting.

The worse thing of all is after NYE last year, we decided to come back for the wedding fayre. Then proceeding to book our wedding and after the terrible organisation, rude staff, the food, service, and rooms not being fully functional we are having serious doubts. Not only that several of our family in attendance last night have said they will not return to this hotel and simply cant get married without them. You would except when a hotel is gaining £1000+ off people for one night, the experience would at least be worth while. The best bits of our night away was the comfy bed and the view from the forth floor at the front of the hotel.

Highly disappointed this time around after several satisfying visits previously.

Myself and my husband just got back from staying here for three nights after our holiday abroad was cancelled due to COVID. This was a little disappointing but our stay here really perked us up. We have stayed here before and each time we thoroughly enjoy ourselves.

Firstly, the COVID measures in place are excellent and made us feel safe during our stay so please don’t worry about that.

From reception right through to housekeeping we couldn’t fault the staff, they were all extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. We especially would like to mention a member of staff in the food/bar area called David who was so professional and friendly that we shocked to find out he had only been at the hotel for a few weeks. Also, the lady in housekeeping went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

We enjoyed two evening meals at the hotel too which were very nice, the room was definitely up to standard and the lobby is a great place to have a drink at nights.

We’re looking forward to our next trip here. Thank you:)

My husband and alot off friends went to your abba night which was great. But not one person on door looking for people's tickets. Was disappointed as feel alot off people could have came in without paying feel this needs improving. Plus alot off us decided to stay over. One couple in the group ended up checking out at 1.50 am as their room was right beside a group of girls at a hen party. Nice was unbelievable.I hope she will be given a full refund She is still waiting for the hotel to get back to her. We had all planned to meet the next morning at breakfast. Feel this was a terrible end to a fantastic wedding anniversary.

Clearly and rightly so,a hotel on its last legs, we organised a family birthday here and the experience was disappointing from start to finish.
No follow up or confirmation information for the booking despite phoning and Emailing the sales manager numerous times.
On arrival no one to show me up to the function room , just a rude direction from the receptionist.

The DJ set up and then disappeared from the function room and had to be tracked down in another bar.
The bar man kept disappearing from the bar leaving customers unable to order drinks.
No card machine and we were told we were not allowed to order from other bars.
Food cold and poorly presented.
In the end when the barman vanished for the fourth or fifth time to be found downstairs gossiping with the receptionist we finally gave up and all left for Donegans where you’re less likely to die of thirst.
Despite the fact we’d probably spent over £500 on drinks and £500 on the actual booking we were made to feel like an inconvenience to the staff at the hotel.
Perhaps when they go out of business and wonder why , they may realise that it is customers who pay their

Stayed here with my 3 dogs recently. The staff were so friendly to us and couldnt do enough to make our stay as pleasent as possible. I did not want to leave my dogs alone in the room so the restaurant staff brought up dinner and breakfast to the room. On arrival they had a lovely dog bed, treats and bowls waiting for the furbabies. They put our room away from the rest of the hotel so it was peaceful and quiet and myself and my dogs were not disturbed by other guests talking in corridors. Highly recommend as a pet friendly hotel!!

Stayed for one night over Christmas and we had a lovely stay. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and service and food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was basic but very large and warm with a super king size bed and all amenities needed, bath, shower, tea/coffee. The hotel is in a great location facing the harbour with plenty of free parking. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the area. Fantastic value for money.

After a rather poor stay in this hotel around 18 months ago my wife and I managed a child free weekend and decided to give it another go. And how glad are we that we did. From we stepped foot into the hotel we have been treated unbelievably. A lot of things have been revamped from restaurant staff, management, bar staff, rooms etc... I can’t stress enough of how much this hotel has been revived and it’s still in the early stages. Alan the new manager is a breathe of fresh air about the place and they have managed to hold on to key members of staff within Jason. Everyone has a smile on their faces, nothing is too much trouble and all Staff we have encountered have had time for a chat which makes the hotel welcoming. An incident with an ignorant person that came into the bar was dealt with impeccably by Gemma who didn’t let his behaviour phase her 1 bit. Have to mention the lady on reception as we arrived and how professional she was. Constantly checking our stay was to our satisfaction. Although not everything is available around the hotel whether it’s entertainment or pool/gym due to current pandemic or if things are being freshened up ie sports bar and restaurant. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will most certainly be back soon. We are excited to see how this hotel continues to grow.
