I think that my title of this review sums up my view of it. I don't expect other people to agree with me. This place is overpriced and overrated. I won't be back. Stop calling all your customers "guys". There are those of us who still have a regard for the English language, without it's awful American adulterations. Please speak...

This was my first stay in a guesthouse for many years, and what a very different experience it was - from the friendly welcome to the minute I left! I didn't get a sea view, but my room was very comfortable and uniquely furnished. The products in the bathroom are gorgeous and the food for breakfast is fantastic. I will...

This place is incredible. The whole house is decorated in an anglo-saxon style, but mixing old and a modern in a very tastful and discreet way. Each room is completely different. The breakfast is really original and really good. You have all the services: wifi, tv, speaker for ipad or ipod, coffee and water in the rooms. The host are...

This is a place I've intended to try for some time now and I finally got the opportunity. The bonus was the lovely sunny morning, enjoying a great view over ballyholme bay from a table at the window. The food (let's face it, the main reason for the visit) was fantastic. I had one of the specials, crab meat on...

Great breakfast menu. Good quality produce all beautifully cooked except bacon. I wondered if had been pre cooked and warmed up. Coffee top ups a bonus. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely try again.

Just returned from our first visit here. It's a real find. We were made so welcome by the lovely girls each one made us very welcome. Food was fabulous and the view stunning. We will return regularly now. It's somewhere different away from the usual hectic cafés. Beautiful decor. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just spent 4 nights at the lovely Cairn Bay Lodge in Bangor. It is a real gem and we had a terrific stay. It ticked all our boxes. Our room was spacious and comfortable with stunning views over Ballyholme Bay. The Voya toiletries in the ensuite bathroom were a very luxurious treat. The breakfast menu was impressive with homemade breads...

Huge thanks to Chris & Jenny for lovely stay at their b&b. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Fabulous breakfasts during our two day stay. I understand, both owners are responsible for the lovely touches throughout the very large house. Every room you went into left you in awe of their artistic imagination. Would go back again without hesitation.

We visited the Cairn Bay Lodge for the first two courses of the Open House Festival Gourmet Food Trail. They served us two excellent courses based on their breakfast/brunch menu. As far as a taster went they certainly whetted our appetite and we will definitely be paying another visit for brunch in the not too distant future.

Where to start? Every day we had and an awesome breakfast in The Starfish Restaurant with a varied menu ranging from local crab through to their own take on the traditional fry up eaten in a room with stunning views out over the bay. ALL the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms was very spacious...
