This was a last minute trip for New Year, booked the day before! Tracey and Tony gave a very warm welcome, along with suggestions of where to go for an evening meal as we had not made plans. No more than 10 mins later, Tracey knocked the door and told us she had reserved us a table at a nearby pub, who were also holding a themed New Year party - what a life saver!!!
The room was clean and tidy, and the property itself full of character and in a lovely quiet setting.
Breakfast was amazing, with a good choice on the menu, and all local or home sourced food.
This is a place we will return to without hesitation. Thank you Tracey and Tony for making the trip that extra bit special

Trewint Farm Bed & Breakfast

This was a post-Christmas trip to walk off those Christmas dinners! This is a wonderful place to stay. Within easy reach of north Cornish coast and Bodmin moor.
We stayed for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable and warm. Tracey and Tony gave a very warm welcome, giving advice on the local area and booking us a meal at a local pub on the first night.
Breakfast was fabulous. Fresh free range eggs from their own hens.
Great undercover parking for the car.
I can’t recommend this B&B highly enough.
Terrific.

We found Trewint Farm to be beautifully decorated and the garden was lovely. We took advantage of the “cook your own BBQ” option for our evening meal and Tracey and Tony supplied lovely salads to accompany the BBQ. It was especially nice to see so much produce from the garden in our salads. Definitely plan your arrival in time for the afternoon cream tea.

If there is a thing such as the perfect B and B, this is it.
If there is such a thing as the perfect stay, this is it.
Tracey and Tony work very hard to make this place wonderful.
The room and facilities are of the highest standard of comfort and cleanliness.
The service is exemplary.
Tracey and Tony’s gentle good nature make the them the loveliest hosts you will ever meet.
The breakfast needs to be experienced to appreciate just how good it is. Fresh eggs from on-farm to gourmet quality local produce make this an experience to remember for ever.
My family left here 200 years ago.
We will make sure we return sooner than that.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
Julie and Michael

The welcome is warm, friendly and you feel you are coming to stay in a lovely home. the breakfasts are magnificent and the room (Padstow) is light, spacious; the bed soooo comfy and the ensuite perfect.

We have booked (third time) for 2017.

We are sorry to hear that there was a problem finding our B&B. Due to the road works currently in force on the A30 we do send out a detailed email to our guests explaining the diversion, but this is simply out of our control, although we do everything we can to help. We are glad that you found our B&B a nice place to stay & the breakfast was good too.

We absolutely loved our stay in Trewint Farm. There is nothing at all I could fault about this gorgeous place.

Jane and Terry are perfect hosts – welcoming, friendly, caring but not in your face. They get the balance just perfectly right. They know the area and are happy to advice on where to eat or what places are worth a visit.

B&B is awesome. We stayed in Padstow room and it was spacious, comfortable, light without being too bright and spotlessly clean. The wardrobe provides ample space for your clothing. There are enough sockets for your gadgets and the wi-fi is good too. The bathroom is again spacious, clean and offers good range of toiletries and very soft and fluffy towels.

I expect all these things in any good B&B, however, little details are what makes this place so different and special - owners’ personalities, professional yet friendly attitude, cream tea on arrival, first page of the information booklet containing guests’ names, filtered water and cold fresh milk and cakes and biscuits in your room in a pretty jar with a handmade, handwritten label….a lot of thoughts and personal touches contribute to your feeling of being welcomed as a family friend rather than just a paying guest.

You are asked to choose your breakfast the night before and the choice is plentiful. Traditional full English is offered alongside the specials such as scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, eggs Benedict, pancakes and more. There is a good range of cereals, yogurts, juices, we had a fruit salad prepared to perfection every morning for each guest and the table was laid out to a very high standard. You will not leave the breakfast room hungry.

Guests have the lounge/sitting room with a lot of comfy sofas and TV available for use. There is also a good off- road parking for guests and you can go and meet the farm animals. We especially loved the alpaca.

You get amazing value in this B&B and when we return to Cornwall we will be definitely returning there

What a wonderful review - many thanks for taking the time to go into such detail, it really is appreciated. Terry and I have tried hard to ensure our guests at Trewint Farm B&B are looked after the way we would want to be if we were guests somewhere - I'm just so pleased it is working!

Excellent B&B where you are made to feel part of the household by Trish and John. Clean and well cared for as you would expect but with a difference. Home produced produce for the excellent breakfast including fresh laid eggs and home made jam. John gave us a terrific guided tour of the livestock and frankly nothing is too much trouble to help you enjoy your stay. Convenient accommodation with an adjoining room for our daughter. Really great.

This is the best B&B that my husband and I have ever stayed in - everything was just lovely.

The hosts Tony and Tracey are great - really helpful but unobtrusive. Tracey recommended some great places for us to visit and eat. We were welcomed by them both on arrival and Tracey showed us around the house, and to our room.

We stayed in the King Room with external bathroom and loved it. The room was so well decorated that it felt very luxurious and had lovely character. The view out onto the fields from the bed was just lovely too, especially when the sun was shining. The bed was super comfy and we both slept well. We were provided with gowns and slippers so the walk down to the bathroom (literally just down the landing) was fine too. Complimentary Cornish lavender products are provided in the bathroom.

The grounds of the B&B are lovely - they grown their own fruit and veg and also get eggs from their own chickens. We said hello to the sheep and donkeys living there too!

Breakfast was just amazing - so fresh and well cooked and tasty. Lots of the ingredients are straight from the garden and if not, are locally sourced.

The location of the B&B is in a peaceful setting but is also great for exploring both the North and South coast of Cornwall.

All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would love to return.

This bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome at the start of our stay to sadly leaving we had a fantastic time.
The rooms are so tastefully decorated and fitted that I felt as if George Clarke had been advising. Our room was perfect and had everything in it you could possibly need and more; from the lovely Cornish organic toiletries to the apple schnapps in a decanter to have before bed. The bed was so comfortable we both slept deeply.
I had the best vegetarian breakfast ever with eggs from Tracy’s hens and vegetables from their garden.
We will most definitely be returning soon.
