Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We as two Dutch travelers throughout Great Britain often look for quiet places to spend the night. This one is more than recommended. All for a very good price, compared to others. Nice and quiet park, beautifully situated in the middle of Cornwall. We slept here for 4 nights and it's such a lovely base from which to explore Cornwall. The owner is more than helpful and is always around if you have any questions or want tips. We had rented the chalet, a very quiet place in the park, enough parking space. You have all the options to cook for yourself, you can do the laundry, everything else is there. Thank you owners, for the nice stay. J&A from the Netherlands

What can I say .Rivermead is a beautiful place to stay .Its a small site with only 6 caravans and a chalet it has a utility area with washing machine and dryer ,everything on hand. Impeccably kept , the caravans are spotless and so comfortable. Loads of hot water in your own shower room full size cooker as well as microwave ,its got everything you need . Set in St Breward ,which is a quaint villiage, it's the perfect place.Set on Bodmin Moor and central for either North or south coast. The hosts are fabulous I was greeted and shown round, nothing was too much trouble,I can't recommend this place enough .

This really is a fabulous small complex. Very quiet and child free. We needed somewhere to chill out and this place was excellent. I would have no problems returning. The village pub is within walking distance and there is a well stocked post office and village store next door. The perfect place to recharge your batteries

What can I say! This is the perfect holiday spot and I already can’t wait to go back! Me and my partner booked a few days away for a holiday as well as visiting family in Bodmin and it was the perfect base for us. We stayed in the chalet, which was perfectly clean and really well equipped, and it had everything we needed for a few days away. We were met by the owner, Dan, and he showed us round the site and gave us some info to get us started. He was really helpful and assured us that if we needed anything throughout to let him know. We had just the loveliest stay, so so peaceful and quiet, and just what we needed for a relaxing break away. We’ve already decided that we’ll stay here again when visiting family again, and will most definitely stay for a few more days next time!

Steve and Julie have an established business that exceeded our expectations. The site is small, quiet, set in the intimate grounds of their bungalow on the edge of the village of St Breward, Bodmin Moor - ideal for accessing the N and S coasts of Cornwall or other key locations in the county. The village has a superb pub 'The Old Inn' with a convenience store and PO adjacent. In current COVID times, extra measures have been established to ensure safety eg when vacated the static homes are kept free of occupancy for 72hrs. Standards of cleanliness are outstanding and the homes are well equipped, very well presented for use and very comfortable. A wonderful 12 nights, we will return.

Just stayed at this lovely little caravan site (just 6 caravans) looks like its set in owners front garden, it was so nice, lovely location, nice and clean and the hosts Steve and Julie are really friendly and welcoming, we went with family but not ideal for smaller children as its quite a relaxing site and very quiet, absolutely perfect for adults who want to go and chill out, such a nice quaint site, will go back

We booked a three night stay at Rivermead and liked it so much we extended our stay for an additional night. The site itself is lovely - so well kept and also safe and secure for our little boy. As mentioned on other reviews the owners are great and very welcoming. The caravan was so clean and cosy - we felt very at home. There is a lovely pub in walking distance that does good food and also a children's play area on the local green which was an added bonus. The whole area of St Breward and the moor is stunning - really looking forward to coming back again soon!
