I have been visiting Ruthern Valley almost every year for 8 years. Andrew and Nicky are always welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The lodges are spotless and cosy and it is a lovely calm, peaceful location. I have recommended Ruthern to so many people and have enjoyed so many happy weeks here. I have been to walk,...

My sister and I stayed in a wooden lodge on the site and was bowled over with the friendliness of our hosts, the provisions both in side and out and the relaxing setting. We had all the luxuries of a holiday cottage but for a much better price. I couldn't fault the place one bit. The location is great being...

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend in one of the wigwams (with electric), which are essentially wooden huts kitted out with a fridge, microwave, kettle, power-points, and seating area which converts into a bed. We hadn't stayed at the site or nearby but as we arrived we were instantly pleased with our choice. The owner gave us...

Many thanks for your kind review. We'll make sure you get connected to the WiFi next time if you want it. If there's ever a problem, we can generally sort it. We're glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet and look forward to seeing you both again soon we hope.

Stayed here for a night with my girlfriend last weekend, in one of the wooden wig wams. From the outset we were impressed, with the site being tidy, having friendly staff and good facilities. The wig wam itself provided the perfect base for a cosy night and the facilities inside are more than sufficient to keep you warm and comfortable...

Stayed in a lodge earlier in the year, stayed in a wigwam last weekend, both clean and warm with everything working. We have recommended the site to others who have also fallen in love with the nice, quiet surroundings. Owls, squirrels and robins to name but a few. Owners have always been polite and extremely helpful. Can't wait to go...

Me and three of my girlfriends stayed in one of the wigwam pods for two nights. I must admit we were a little apprehensive about staying after reading some of the reviews regarding'quiet time" and the owners patrolling during the night and asking people to keep the noise down. Glad to say this was not the case! We are a...

Stayed here for 2 nights during the August bank holiday. Perfect for families or couples. Ideal location. Exceptionally clean accommodation, facilities and amenities. We stayed in the mega pod which was fully equipped and spotless. Would definitely recommend this location , whether it is camping or using the accommodation. There is a well stocked shop, nice park and farm.

Arrived at the site, easy check in and pleasant staff. Site was busy but did not affect our stay, which was great! We stayed in a "Glamping Pod" and this was very clean inside, however could use some exterior maintenance/cleaning to really make that difference. This however, is a preference and did not impact our experience Shower block was clean...
