We spent two night at the Burnett Arms on a trip to visit relatives. We were delighted with it - very friendly staff, good and quiet room. There was a large and very friendly bar and the food in the evening was good and all at a good price. It was ideal for our needs. There is only one criticism,... More

The Burnett Arms is situated in the centre of a small town called Banchory in Scotland. I have stayed here quite often in the last 20 years and recently many of the rooms have been renovated to a very high standard. The staff are really friendly and the hotel has quite a nice homely feel. Although I stay on business... More

The hotel is located centrally on the main road through the town of Banchory. The hotel has parking available at the front, with disabled parking and a medium size car park at the back of the hotel. On entering of the hotel you walk into the reception area which leads off to the bar area and restaurant. The receptionists are... More

Stayed for 2 nights in room 10 which was on the first floor on the main road. Despite being on the main road opposite two bars we didn't hear any noise. The room was quite small but clean and modern. The bathroom was also modern and clean with a lovely big shower. The only complaint would be the sliding door... More

We stayed overnight at the Burnett Arms when attending a wedding at a different venue in Banchory. The location of the hotel couldn't be better, as it's situated right in the middle of the main street and there's a spacious car park at the rear of the building. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, from the lady who... More

Over night stay on a Saturday in between rounds of golf in local area. Stayed with adult daughter in single rooms which faced the rear of property. Rooms adequate and warm, bathroom clean and time had obviously been spent in preparing the room. All usual facilities and wifi is available. As hotel is on main road in centre of town... More

Myself and my daughter stayed here for two nights while visiting people in the neighboring town during May of this year. We were a little hesitant knowing that the hotel was a little old, and wondered what the accommodations would be like. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were updated, with the bathroom being the best we've had... More

Two American couples traveling together, booked a pair of rooms 24 hrs in advance. Were greeted enthusiastically upon arrival. Rooms were spacious (for the price), and SPOTLESS! Dinner was excellent featuring ;local specialties like venison, and fish pie. Breakfast (which was £8 extra) was well worth it. You could order anything ala carte, and I had poached smoked haddock with... More

We visited The Burnett Arms for lunch last Sunday. Lured by the fact that lunch is included in the Spree book. The place was quiet. Not busy at all. Which was a shame as we had a delicious Steak Pie and roast chicken wrapped in bacon. The portion sizes were good and the food hot and tasty. Good value for... More
