Stayed with 3 friends for one night. We were given two rooms with sea views. Both rooms had a double and a single bed. The rooms were clean, freshly painted and warm. Considering the small rate we paid, we have no complaints at all

My wife and I booked the york hotel after seeing a great room only rate advertised online (booking.com). I booked a double room as we were working in the area, the check in was a slight challenge as the reception is hidden away in a tiny room up the coridor, not by the front door, but was dealt with very...

Terrible stay ! Do not recommend to elderly due to many stairs and steps . Terrible customer service of management. We checked in at 3 pm by 8pm we had checked out. My advise to any one who is 60+ not to bother .

Ok on arrival and a nice big room and as it's off season the price was keen. Good location for sea front etc. Decor a bit jaded but a nice bar and a real fire. Negatives were my bath towel smelt of curry plus shelf and other fittings were loose. No-one on reception staff this morning to mention this.

Carvery is well priced, plates are a little small meaning you can not fit everything on but for the price it's understandable, all in all it was good, for constructive criticism id say less butter in the swede as very strong, more roasted veg rather than boiled/steamed and the gravy is rather bland but for the price was still nice...

Stayed for a night on our way up to Wales. We were welcomed warmly and given our room key, the room was clean, tidy and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was ok, really great service but the quality of the food was a little disappointing. Overall, a great place to stay but maybe eat out in the...

Booked for a weekend to visit friends. Received a very warm welcome for friendly staff. The spacious bedroom with a sea view was superb value for money. Will definitely be staying there again next time we're in town.

Great Breakfast. Large Hotel with allot of corridors. Beautiful views and bathroom. Minor fixings required although otherwise very tidy and well maintained in keeping with its size. Period property which might require an acquired taste. Separate parking facilities so plan ahead.

A dreadful place with awful service. No food at all including breakfast. Carpets all stained and hotel needs serious updating. Some staff rather grumpy with poor English. TV didn't work and overall a dreadful experience. Never again!!
