Great place, arrived in the rain having ridden motorbikes for several hours - we were very wet. Checked in and told we could put the bikes in the large garage behind the hotel - this was most welcome. The room had a balcony which would have been great in better weather, lots of storage space and a good bathroom. Breakfast...

Church bells are very charming, and they could be clearly heard in the attic hotel room beginning at 6 am. Road noise and sounds from adjacent room can also be clearly heard. The beds do not have a mattress that Americans would recognize - it was similar to a box springs. A "memory foam" type 'pad' (approx. 2") may be...

There is always a certain sense of relief about arriving at a hotel, after a long day, and immediately those little reassuring indicators of quality. As you step through the door of this lovely little hotel those signs are immediately obvious. The hotel sits in a very nicely decorated Bavarian-style country house. It seems to be a family-run operation. We...

This hotel deserves minimum 3 stars. Nice building, clean an comfortable rooms, classic german breakfast. The location near the lake is also to be mentioned. The village is really small, but nice. Perfect to stay for a good price near Munich.

The plaque with two stars by the front door says it all. Breakfast includes the bare minimum, as do the rooms. Wifi is available but painfully slow. And the staff is like Jeckyl and Hyde. If you are on a budget and have no other options this is your hotel.

“The wifi in the attic was very slow and intermittent. The attic room kitchen has a sloping roof that interferes with standing upright at the sink/stove/fridge area. The attic room walls permit sounds of adjacent room; and road noise and church bells beginning at 6 am can be heard clearly.”
