My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages, next to the main house, rather than do a B&B stay on this occasion and it was absolutely wonderful. The cottage was beautiful and such an idyllic setting. As other reviewers have said, Barabra is a very good host - friendly, helpful but not over the top as a few... More

Cannot fault this place. The rooms, welcome, location, food, warmth and Barbara who brings it all together. We had both the willow and oak rooms, both immaculate. Barbara was very accommodating in the timing for breakfast, walking in the shorter days and needed as much daylight as possible.

This is the second time I have been here and once again the experience far exceeds any other B and B in have been to. The attention to detail makes the world of difference to a relaxing trip away. Rooms warm, immaculate and warm (underfloor heating). Barbara very friendly but not over the top as other owners can be. Booked... More

Thank you Barbara for such a welcome and looking after us so well. Amazing place you have and thank you so much for sharing it with us. Right on the beautiful North Tyne river. We hope to return many times.

A wonderful host, location and feel. We loved our stay and felt very welcome. The rooms were excellent, clean and brilliantly furnished. The breakfast was very good quality and we loved the little home made cakes on arrival! Thanks for a great stay.

This place is just beautiful. The decor is tasteful, the hospitality is first class and the breakfast is marvellous. Barbara has got it just right. The house is in such a great spot. A really lovely stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found everything about the place superb. Barbara was so kind and helpful, and provided not just a range of delicious breakfasts, but home made cakes on offer throughout the day! All features in the B&B are top spec, beautiful furniture, fixtures, fittings and fabrics - real luxurious, great decor. Our own room was... More

Boat Farm B and B is without doubt the cleanest, best presented guest house we have ever stayed in. The hostess, Barbara, was excellent, from tea and cakes on the patio overlooking the river upon our arrival, to a superb breakfast the next morning. The rooms appeared to be brand new, and were large, with fantastic views over the garden... More

This is by far the best b&b, or hotel for that matter I have ever stayed in, On arrival we were welcomed by tea and home made cakes ( lovely) the room was spacious, impeccably clean, and decorated to a very high standard, with expensive top end furniture, the shower room was of a similar high standard and again spotless.... I recently stayed two nights with my boyfriend in the Rede Room of this B&B, as I had found it online and the price was good. I was not expecting such a perfect place! Everything about the B&B was so well done - the delicious breakfasts with a large choice of food, the comfy bed and pristine bathroom and the... More
