A lovely place to stay when visiting this area of Scotland, very clean warm and friendly, ideal location for walks and exploring the east coast of Scotland, From St Andrews to Stonehaven and visiting all the small harbours inbetween this is an ideal location to base yourself.

We really enjoyed a relaxing stay with another couple at the Roomies last month. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms spacious and spotlessly clean. And we appreciated the generous shared living room, where we could all sit together and relax. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, and served us up a delicious breakfast the following morning. We also found...

Came up for the Open at St Andrew's, only a half hour away on the train, an ideal location for golf in general; and what a cracking B&B we found. There are two cosy well appointed double rooms with a superb large joining lounge at the top and it's own private access. A great breakfast with all you could want...

I had the pleasure of staying at 'The Roomies' in July 2015. I have to stay at may BB and hotels, this was one of the cleanest I have stayed in. In a nice quiet location. The lady was friendly and the breakfast was everything you could have asked for from even a large hotel. I would most happy to...

Have just stayed at the roomies on a wild fowling trip to the Montrose basin, and I have got to say that I cannot fault the quality of service received. The owner is very helpful and after a cold morning on the marsh the full Scottish breakfasts were a sight for sore eyes.

Very tidy, comfortable and friendly B&B with lots of character both inside and out. Tucked away off the beaten track down by the quayside of a proper old east coast fishing village. A little bit distant from the town centre but once you're there almost no traffic and very close to the sea with coastal paths, lighthouse etc.

I would thoroughly recommend The Roomies as an ideal place to stay on the Angus coast. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, and it is immaculately clean. Your hosts Caroline and Keith give you the warmest welcome and a Scottish breakfast to die for, I don’t think I can honestly say I have ever had such a good breakfast. The food...

This very sweet little B&B was a great place to sample the east coast of Scotland. Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, the room we had was very spacious, clean, with two twins pushed together to form a huge king. In addition, there was another room attached to ours that had couches, chairs, a tv, etc. where...

The Roomies is right in the heart of the old fishing village. Very comfortable and a tasty breakfast. Also had a guest lounge which was great and very well appointed. Overall great value and very welcoming.
