Perfectly located establishment for North Devon. Easy access to the surrounding beaches and countryside. The property is exceptionally clean with all the conveniences you could possibly require, including good wifi connection. Very tasty, freshly cooked quality breakfast, Richard and Lisa are the most charming, helpful and knowledgeable hosts you could wish for. Definitely the best guest house either of us has experienced in 45 years of travelling.

2 night stop over whilst rowing in Appledore. Super place to stay. Nice location just outside the main town in lovely countryside. Great for walks down to the coast. Very friendly host, clean and comfortable and well appointed room. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic stay we have ad for a few days. We stayed in The Kipling room and it was absolutely spotless. I could not fault it in any way. Very modern with everything you need. Lovely en-suite with walk in shower. Breakfast is served in 2 sittings, 0830 & 0930. The breakfast room has all you need and your preorder is cooked fresh upon arrival. The location is very close to the sea front, 2 min drive in car or a 12 min walk by the footpath next to the property. Our stay was made even nicer by meeting the owner Richard, very welcoming and is very knowledgeable about the area. He also does a mean fry up with locally sourced produce. It is excellent value for money and we will be definitely back next year. Thank you Richard.

We stayed for 3 nights at Tors Top and were really impressed - our room was lovely and so clean, the bathroom was also very good and had both a shower and a big bath. The breakfasts were excellent and Richard and Lisa were such lovely hosts. It is only a 10 minute walk into Westward Ho down through the woodlands and there is a very nice bar/restaurant (Pier House) at the bottom, on the sea front.

We stayed for 3 nights in late September. The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The bed was really comfy. Initially, we had a slight problem with the WiFi, however Lisa sorted it out very quickly and the WiFi was excellent for the rest of the stay. There was a good choice at breakfast, the order was taken the night before. Also, everything was carried out in a Covid safe environment. Both Richard and Lisa gave us some good advice on places to eat and visit. It was a nice walk down to Westward Ho (about a 15 min walk. A great place to stay when visiting the North Devon Coast.
