Westward living is such a beautiful part of Westward ho ! Stunning countryside and sea views , witch are all just outside the front door . The cottages are very lavish and have all been finished to a high spec , our cottage ( Royal Celerity ) was beautiful both years we have visted. Fully fitted kitchen for cozy romantic meals , hot tub to wind down and relax in and a jacuzzi in the bedroom, pure bliss .....Kathy and Cris have made such a lovely sanctuary for my wife and myself to escape from the world . Highly recommend Westward Living.

Well appointed cottages with everything one could use for a self catering holiday. The cream tea on arrival was delicious and a lovely touch. As was the welcome gifts for our dog together with dog bowls and bed. Our dog felt comfortable right away. The spa bath and hot tub were pristinely kept as was the entire cottage. The views were stunning.I would definitely go aback again for a relaxing holiday.

What a lovely place. Farriers cottage was clean, super comfortable and very good for those with disabilities. We usually avoid complexes but this was peaceful and relaxing. We loved feeding the goats at the bottom of the garden everyday and our daughter loved her meet and greet with the horses, thank you Kathy for suggesting it. All staff were friendly and welcoming and we will return. We spent lovely days walking up to the hoses, strolling on Instow beach and had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Thank you all and I’m sure we will see you again

Absolutely stunning accommodation, real wow factor when we walked into Frankie’s Cottage. The week went by so quickly, could easily have stayed another week, every room was perfectly equipped and comfortable and felt super clean. The site was perfect for the children to go off and explore, from the activities in the barn, to the play equipment outside and getting attention from the horses. We enjoyed our daily coastal walk to Westwood Ho, followed by a relax in the hot tub when we got back, Definitely will be booking again.

WARNING .. if you stay you will NEVER want to leave !!!! From the moment our elopement was booked communication with Kathy has been OUTSTANDING. Our day was magical and Kathy and Chris made sure everything went smoothly . It was exactly how we envisaged our special day . We were even driven down for our candlelit picnic in the cave and picked up when we had finished by Kathy and Chris . Our dog was a big part of our day (star of the show we think !) and this venue allows your four legged friend to be involved . He was our ring bearer. The personal touches just made everything extra special . We stayed in Royal Celerity and it was simply stunning . The Hot Tub and Jacuzzi were amazing . Accommodation spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. Cream tea on arrival and milk in the fridge so welcomed after a long drive . We could not fault a single thing everything was perfect. Thank you so much for making our elopement and stay so memorable. We cannot wait to return and celebrate anniversaries here. Mr and Mrs Silver Wolfe & Chomsky.

We’ve just returned from a really super week in Smiley cottage. This was our first holiday with our dog and I think the owners had thought of everything - dog bed (which our dog preferred to his own!), bowls and even a gift set with treats and doggy soap! The humans were well looked after too - we loved the cream tea on arrival and the posh soaps (and fudge on departure). The accommodation was luxurious and spotless. We all slept brilliantly and the walk in shower was wonderful. The kids were thrilled with the big TV and we thought the DVDs and cupboard of games were a great idea. Kids enjoyed the play barn too. It was lovely being able to walk through the grounds and down to the coastal path. Getting up close to the beautiful friendly horses was a real highlight. We really did have a perfect week here and would highly recommend it.

Wow this place! Where do I start! We stayed at Celerity a 2 bed romantic villa, but with an option to take the little one (if needed) as can accommodate a travel cot. Hot tub on patio, with a gas bbq and enclosed garden. Huge modern jacuzzi bath in the bedroom, huge closet, stylish bathroom, and the best bed I have ever slept in. The villa was so stylish throughout and very clean. There was an amazing kids games barn with badminton, plunge pool, snooker table and volleyball. The location is so private yet only a few minutes from the seafront. The views were stunning. The service we received was 10/10, on arrival there was a gorgeous cream tea waiting for us with the tastiest jam (which we ended up buying from the shop on the seafront Everthing Westward), the toiletries again I had to buy as smelt amazing! On departure such a nice touch receiving some local fudge. Loved collecting eggs for our breakfast in the morning, honestly the best place we have ever stayed in Devon. We will defiantly be returning.

Wow, absolutely amazing. What a delightful find. Booked for a week vacation to spend family time celebrating an 80th birthday and we were not disappointed. Only disappointment is that we should of stayed longer! Not only is this a stunningly breathtaking part of the country - which can not fail to make you stop in your tracks, teamed with the comforts and little luxuries of the cottage, the abundant wildlife and the roaming horses, sunsets and sunrises, the peace and tranquility..... This really is a perfect heaven. Ideal location for sightseeing the local area, it was lovely to return after a long day to a relaxing hottub. The beds were also the comfiest and biggest we have ever slept in! It is clear the owners have given alot of thought and consideration into making sure you enjoy your stay. Tastefully decorated, clean and well presented. Plenty of utensils/equipment - a real home from home. The towels were fluffy and clean, the slippers and bathrobes are a wonderful idea too. Thank you for the Devon scones, tea and milk and the beautiful flowers and birthday card. Even our collie received a welcome gift. It was lovely to meet kathy on our last night... We appreciated the kind gift for a long journey home. Highly recommended - luxury at its very best. Thankyou x

It was our first time saying at Westward Living in Kala’s Cottage. Kathy managed to rectify a mix up by the third party agency we booked through the day before we arrived which was a relief; she was very helpful and responsive throughout. The Cottage was beautifully presented and very clean. There was a welcome cream tea and doggy treats waiting and they provided a dog bed, towel and bowls as well as a high chair and a travel cot. The hot tub was lovely and warm and very clean as was the bbq. The sea views and coast path are stunning and the surroundings very peaceful. Despite other guests staying, it was quiet and the cottage and garden are not overlooked. The garden is enclosed which was great for the dog. We very much enjoyed our stay.
