Away from the main area of Sougia but nowhere is more than a five minute walk The rooms were very clean albeit a little tired now but the price reflects this Both Katerina and Capt. George are friendly with good English We stayed two nights as we wanted to take the boat trip to Tripiti beach and walk up to...

This was our third time in Sougia. Previously we had stayed near the beachfront but when we saw this area at the entrance to the charming village of Sougia we knew we wanted to try it on our next visit. We stayed at Captain George twice on this visit - on our first stay, our room faced onto a field...

It is old but real Greek, the owner is what I would call authentic which gives it an extra dimension. The rooms however are clean but need a make-over. The sheet are clean but old. But it is not expensive.

I had a wonderful studio with a large, mainly shady balcony which overlooked the sea and fields of sheep and goats. The only sounds were...

Captain George seemed to run the nautical side of his business, while "Madam George' looked after the rooms, and replaced linen and towels every few days. The drive and gardens of the property showed care and pride in their presentation, with painted cobblestones, a decorative arch and topiary, while a large goat is allowed out of his enclosure every so often...
