Willersley Castle, like all the Christian Guild hotels, features special activity weekends of various kinds as well as catering to casual visitors. I have been to Willersley Castle several times as part of a craft weekend. We are given the large and comfortable music room to work in, with plenty of tables and chairs. The lounge is comfortable, and there...

Lovely hotel to stay in. Out the way so you get no fuss of traffic. Views from any room are amazing. The room themselves are a little small but still nice. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was good although they 'reserve' tables based on who's staying in the hotel but our name wasn't on any table reservation so they had to...

Helpful staff, beautiful setting, really good value. The house is full of character - originally built for the Arkwright Family; in the Second World War it became a home for mothers-to-be from London; there were a few thousand babies born there who got to have 'Willersley Castle' as their place of birth - thanks to Kim, Front Office Manager for...

I suggested to my two friends that we stopped for coffee at Willersley Castle around 3.20pm. We went into the lounge. A waitress of about 12 ys of age (I exagerate probably 16) came to serve us. My coffee came without milk and there were no sideplates for the huge Toasted Teacakes. So I went to the reception and asked...

We had 3 single rooms in the annexe and they were clean, warm and comfortable. Showers were powerful and the water very hot. Staff were very friendly, letting us check in as soon as our rooms were ready and ordering us a cab. Location and views are amazing. Breakfast was buffet though they are happy to cook special requests such...

Room was large, had a great view, very clean and warm. We got a great deal which included breakfast, and we loved the swimming pool on site. The hotel is close to all Derbyshire's countryside and attractions. It could not have been better from that point of view. There was one very odd thing. Dinner was at a fixed time...

A very peaceful place to stay with no noise and some good walks around into Cromford or nearby Masson Mill. The hotel is a listed building and allowances need to be made for that. It has been well kept and has a swimming pool and lift access to upper floors. We had a room at the front with fabulous views....
